@@jacknerdlord3244 absolutely, if its a 7 pin tubular lock, then the chances are this kit will be able to open it. And the great thing about it is also you can then take it to a locksmith who cuts tubular lock keys. Give him the bitting and bam. Get a key made

its called a HUK tubular lock pick, it costs about 30$ on amazon, comes with 3 different tools for 3 of the most common sizes of tubular locks that you'll encounter, and also saves the bitting and allows you to make another key if you'd like.

Oh, but all of them can be picked- if you are good. Only problem now is they have been shielding the front of the tube so it's hard to find something thin enough to press the pins down. I always wondered why Sparrows or someone doesn't make a special tool just for that- plus the turning tools they have out are SO not as good as they could be.

Or just use a plastic pen that fits the lock it tajes a fair bit of rocking but the pins will bind eventually

Depending on your state, just walking around with one of these could be considered a crime. Unless you have a reason to have them, they can be considered burglary tools. Stay safe. Stay legal.

Well, people always tote guns about this type of stuff. Did you know that in most states, lets say i did zoom off with your bike. You start pew pewing. You'll do 10x the amount of jailtime i will for using lethal force unless i was putting your life in immediate danger. I dont pick locks to promote theft. I make jokes around it sure, but locksport is just a hobby and a way to teach people to not use shit locks. There should probably be a youtuber that informs folks who automatically think about gun violence that just because the US allows ownership of guns doesnt mean you can use them in instances like you're talking about LOL. Maybe that will be another channel i make in the future

Not True. 1st off, the ones you are holding I've owned 3 sets of= they are all shit and not manufactured correctly, which is common when buying things made in China. 2 of those probably don't have roll pins bored and the one that does?- probably doesn't come with the roll pin it is suppose to have. Much harder to impression when you don't have the roll pin- it's like sticking a key in a door, and not being able to turn it, and expecting the door to open. 2nd- the more expensive ones, which are more singular in what they work on- are better and more successful. BUT- they don't open every tube- and sure don't open anywhere NEAR 99%- that's laughable. Machines have had customized pins now for a long time, Barrels and Mushrooms and all kinds of shapes. They also have different coil tolerances, so that what might press 1 pin down with a said amount of force= will not pus 1 or more of the other pins. This is why you almost never see Vending machines Robbed and if you do= they crowbar the side and rip it apart, which probably takes about the same amount of time is they are skilled.

I havent found a 7 pin tubular lock that those havent opened, maybe its a skill issue? Also they all have pins, using the pin is for lower security tubular locks and you remove it for the higher security style that have the notch burried instead of front and center. Most tubular locks dont have security pins, but if they doooo, thats what single pin picking is for 😁
