Too many people complained about the comfort and user-friendliness of the old vapor and now we get a clunky cardboard box instead of the speedy and light shoe we used to have

I like that they added a zoom unit in the forefoot, the previous vapors had very little cushioning in the front. Nice review though!

Great video. Do you think its possible to play with these outsoles on clay? I know they have a clay herringbone version too but all-court outsoles are always more durable I would like to buy only pair of shoe that I use on hardcourts (60% of time) and clay (40% of time).

100% agree, Mark. Nike used to be my favorite shoe for over a decade. But feel and quality has been in a decline, but it might be making a resurgence. 🤞

Actually like these shoes, I bought a the gel delicate 7 and solution Swift prior and never had such terrible ankle pain, like almost immobilising pain, so I switched to these and it’s ALOT better, I can play for hours and although I get some friction burn on the ball of my foot(playing on astro 🤢), 0 pain the following days… yes they are a little clumpy, but no serious slippage as far as I can remember (maybe 2months owned).

I was a big fan of the last vapor pro (which is used for a year) and I definitely think the new one lost the magic of the old vapor. Now I sadly have to use the gel resolution 8 which is heavier than the vapor pro

Pro 2 might be heavier than Res 8, but the Res 8 sure FEELS like its lighter when you put them on your feetzies.

Hey Mark, I actually have the wide version of the previous vapor pro's, and I agree, its a great shoe. I have wide, flat feet, so the wide width in the forefoot helps me out. I tried the regular versions and found them longer than some other brands, but not wide enough for me. I don't know if you have noticed this, but I think ever since Federer left Nike, the vapor line of shoes have kinda gone downhill. What do you think? I also have a pair of the ON Roger Pro's, which are also pretty wide as well, so I have a feeling you might not like it lol.

@@MarkSansait I honestly think you shouldn’t waste your time, especially since you’ll literally burn through the outsole in a few hours, max lol.

I purchased the Nike court pro - not the vapor pro....although they look similar. No durability - completely torn on top after less than 6 months. I'm a club player a few times a week. The other annoying factor was the "squeaking" all the time as I moved. Others had also noticed and mentioned it...

I found the vapor x and vapor pro 1 to be very uncomfortable. The lack of cushioning left my forefoot aching offer just 10-15 minutes of light hitting. I do understand the complaints about marketing but find these far better than previous vapors. Heel slippage is a slight problem if using an aftermarket insole. I find the vapor 11s do not have this flaw.

i bought these, used them once and hated them. They felt clunky, my foot slipped around at the back, and i simply hate the look of the extended/wide heel , it just looks odd and not how any shoes should look. Returned immediately. Think i'll stick to Kswiss, Yonex or Asics.

I am done with Nike shoes anyway, since I rubbed the sole away on clay within three weeks some time ago - at a price tag that would translate to $300 in today's money. And also no guarantee as well, so shame on me if you fool me twice, Nike! I would rather stick to Asics, as soon as my current shoes are done.
