I'm glad to see about the free-rig on your channel. In Korea, the first professional basser to use the free-rig as a secret weapon has won numerous tournaments over the years. It has also been used by many professional basser and anglers for nearly 20 years.I also have a free-rig and drop-shot schedule that I never miss out on the tournament. In addition, a slightly modified a free-rig is using in fields with cold water temperatures and high fishing pressure in Korea. Free-rig is available in all field conditions.Rock piles, water glass areas and submerged trees. I'm watching your video and working on the hover-rig in my field by the way it's nice to see you introduce you guys to the Rig that was born in my country, God bless your fishing life. - In South-Korea, a professional basser.

Ben, or anyone, how does the tear drop differ from using a good ‘ol bullet weight? They both allow the line to slide freely. This is basically a Texas rig right? I feel the bullet weight would actually slide thru brush and other snags easier? Just curious, thanks for the vids.

When twitching the worm is it not being pulled into the free sliding weight? Would better action come from a secured weight being twitched and a floating jerking behind? And the worm to weight distance won’t change keeping a constant depth off the bottom? Pool footage would be cool at the end of the day you’re catching em so keep it up. ps just use the pliers bruh.

The free rig drops more "freely" in turn more vertically and separates much further then a Texas rigged bullet style allowing the bait to be presented even slower
