THIS SECRET INGREDIENT turned SERBIAN pljeskavica into RUSSIAN

Yo guyz, it’s me Kseniya! I got an idea to make Serbian pljeskavica taste Russian! 😁 So I actually turned Serbian pljeskavica into Russian using my secret Russian ingredient :)))
Russian food isn’t really that great to my taste, same I can say about Serbian food, but pljeskavica is an outstanding dish! So why not to experiment a bit? Cooking Serbian food can be difficult, but maybe I should try in my future videos… Anyways, if you like the format let me know! Maybe it’ll be cool to make American pljeskavica or Croatian pljeskavica? Who knows!

Another signature dish for "Restaurant Sailor Nom"! The smiling Kseniya beetroot Joker face might make the perfect logo - it says 'tasty' and 'happy', and after all, isn't that what you want from a fine restaurant? Looks pretty spicy - Russian mustard reminds me of the hot English mustard which was the default when I was a kid in Australia - it was okay if you applied only a very thin, transparent coat, otherwise it burned like Hell! Just a little concerned about how allegedly very spicy 'Wasabe-like' Russian mustard was *plastered on* here. Hope you survived okay - I'll be watching to see how long it takes before your next upload. Where you have Russian pljeskavica (cut and paste is wonderful for lazy Anglophones like me) listed on your menu, you might need to ask patrons about how spicy they would like theirs, just in case. No idea how ready Serbians are to face Russian heat. There used to lots of great low cost Indian restaurants in Toronto who would always first ask pale faced locals like me how spicy they would like their meal. I liked spicy food, but I discovered early on that requesting authentic Indian 'spicy' was very unwise. Sure you should make the whole thing someday! The basic pljeskavica looks pretty tasty and huge compared to the hamburgers we are used to in Canada. Guys I used to work with seemed to like 'suicide chicken wings' that were so spicy you had to sign a waiver to protect the pub when ordering (and no, I didn't make that up!). I suppose spicy hot Russian-Serbian pljeskavica could also become proof of manhood in certain sports bars over here. (I never did understand why some guys would pay extra for food that produced so much pain that they couldn't taste anything, then later incinerated them again in the afterburner. Drinking battery acid would have been much cheaper). Anyhow, good to hear from you again Kseniya! Looking forward to your next missive. Take care and stay safe.

Thanks for your time, my friend! Gosh I love spicy food, but I mean really spicy… When we were living in Vietnam, we used to go to Indian restaurants, I always ordered the spiciest level. It was hell on Earth. But at that time I wasn’t as that tolerant to spice as I am now. It’s really difficult to find spicy food in Serbia( even chillies aren’t really spicy in the store :(. So I have to make my food spicy by myself, which is kinda annoying.

I want to see videos of “Cooking with Kseniya!”🎉 This could be very fun!! And I’ve been thinking, when you go out to try new restaurants you should have a very small bottle of Tabasco sauce or some other hot sauce you take along with you, so you can rescue Seed that is just too bland! Kseniya, you have inspired me to try making something like this! Mine will be slightly different, I will use spicy brown mustard. Sorry I just can’t patronize any Russian shops at this time. I like to make quick pickles with many fresh veggies, including onions. I prefer to marinate red onions with a little bit of beet root, and I use apple cider vinegar. They are tasty, and pink! 😁 But I will make that red beet sandwich dressing exactly the same way you did- I’ve got the ingredients! It looks so yummy! 😋💙🥙

Inflation is a consequence of de-dollarization, not war. Mинистр финансов говорит, что цены вернутся к своим старым значениям через пару месяцев. Я не верю в это, но давайте посмотрим и на это. @@SailorNomMaybe more people will grow their own onions, tomatoes etc.? Is it cheaper to buy directly from other people who have a garden, rather than buy from a grocery store in the city? That’s how it is where I live. Most of my friends and family have a garden, beehives or chickens etc and sometimes we trade with each other. Someone has cucumbers, peppers, beets, zucchini, honey, tomatoes and you might trade for eggs, onions, green beans, cauliflower etc.

Of course, a pro like you doesn't need a script! 💪 But Boss Kseniya, I don't know what your other biggest fans, Carl and Eric, have to say about this video. Their opinions are obviously just as important as mine. 👍 However, dear Kseniya 🥰, this is by far your most boring cooking video yet, if you want my professional and intellectual assessment. Nothing really happens. Well, it serves as a welcome break between more exciting videos on KZread. But such entertainment is abundantly available for free, you know… I expect more engagement and effort from you, Kseniya. 🤷‍♂️ You have the intellect and talent to produce great videos, I know that. But you're often too lazy to make the effort, if you want my honest and sincere opinion. And I know you want it because you need it. 😉 If you want to make cooking videos, Kseniya, which is totally fine by me, maybe it would spice things up if you let Vlad and the little boy join in.
