It does, at least for me. I use the blaster and crossguard and the only thing on his belt is the extra piece of the hilt for the crossguard

Honestly I could see this being one of the features for Jedi 3. Considering how much the customization was added to and improved from Fallen Order to this game, this would be another great way to add to it for the follow up.

I wish you could have different colors for each lightsaber for the duel wield stance

I think it's more about continuity. If you remember correctly from Fallen Order, the Kyber Crystal he obtained broke in half which is what allowed him to still use the double bladed stance meaning both sabers would have to he the same color regardless. I could very possibly be wrong doe.

I really hoped that there would be a black lightsaber option, especially since the Mandalorian came out and made the darksaber so popular. And have an option where you can have a black core with whatever other color you want like SWTOR

fallen order was going somewhere with that, the designs for the mantis weren't all perfect but there were some great ones that should have made it into jedi survivor

The only thing I would want for them to add to the lightsaber customization is to be able to have two different lightsaber colors when dual wielding, other than that the customization is perfect!

I bet you don't know about the "Toggle attachments" option for the blaster then

you can also press r or square to add attachments to your blaster barrel but only the barrel

@@benjaminhager6285 nvm i remember, the same way you can customize the crossguard angles, if you customize the barrel of your blaster, and look at the controls, you can press square or R to add another (cosmetic) attachment. it's basically the crossguard equivalent for the blaster

I actually just noticed there’s an attachment to the blaster barrel you can toggle on and off

Customization options in this game are a huge improvement over the last game. Same thing could be said about the movement. However it was a bummer that you can't do lightsaber combos that flow together between whichever two stances you have equipped. I could be wrong but in the previous game couldn't you start attacking with one stance and then switch in while attacking and it would change the combos you could do?

Yes you could much better. One perk was to hold down attack and it would do a special animation switch to the other stance. I miss this too. Miss jump flipping and changing stance midair

Love everything about the customization... I just wish we could have one saber be one color and the other saber be another

Barrels for your blaster have attachments you can take on and off as well. I believe it's the same key to do as the cross guard adjustment

it gives you a prompt to try it when you first customize the crossguard and it was in the trailer

That's basically the only thing missing yeah! It's already really cool that every color sounds different (they already did in Fallen Order) but being able pick it out would be sick, and obviously stability options would be even more amazing!

Shame I can’t actually play the game on my pc that should be able to run it, just crashes after the game title appears, I don’t even know what the menu looks like and a can’t get a refund

Game is playable now just dont use raytracing and turn on DLSS if you got it. Game still struggles but if you got a good PC it will play fine.

@@calmsquirrel7124 minus the performance and a bit too much platforming its one of the best Star Wars games ever made, and Ive been playing them all since the late 90s. If you ever get the time I promise at least story, music, combat wise its worth playing.

I saw that and honestly I kinda just prefer the normal look but I like the extra customization possibilities

If by "secret" you mean a clearly marked option in the lightsaber customization menu from the moment you get this stance, then yeah, I suppose it is a "secret."

@LaughingOwlKiller yeah it's true that they were usually only like 2-4lbs. But the way knights fought they still swung them around like that due to the armor they wore. Now with the fact that Cal is literally a jedi and he has no excuse to swing that slow, I feel like the developers just did that to make room for the damage output. Because if it still did the same damage with the speed of the single saber there would be no challenge.

I think it would be really cool to add in different blade options like unstable i don't know where to really promote this to respawn hype it up

Realistically, having a low angled crossguard could be better since you can effectively have it apply as the spokes of a parrying dagger and trap the opponent’s weapon in the gap.

@@vilmoskapitany9813 yes, I’m a realistic case, but it would be viewed as dishonourable to do so, and also, the crossguard is emitting energy, enough to stop the blade from cutting into the emitter

Finally one of these “things you didn’t know” that doesn’t just show you something the game lets you figure out through natural exploration!

Haven’t heard any one say anything about bd-1 ‘s visor either, if you customize his photoreceptors, you get a different view. There’s a custom view and a default view.

The customization made this so much fun to play. Once I got cross guard saber I couldn’t use anything else, it also makes the game a little more challenging being so dang slow

It makes sense though, the saber in your non dominant hand wouldn’t be as big because it’s mainly going to be used for parrying and defense, while the larger saber in your dominant hand is going to be the primary offensive weapon

Ive finished the game and I do believe the game really suffers from not being able to switch to any stance on the fly

It took me like 20 hours to notice you could change light saber color as soon as you reach the first work bench lmao. This is a neat little feature though.

You can also customize the blaster by adding attachments to the barrel

this "secret" is one of the first thing they tell you when you get the stance 🤡

On certain enemies when you do a finisher animation with the crossguard stance, Cal uses the lightsaber like its in normal stance but it keeps the crossguard which is cool to see

Man i just beat the game and im barely finding out now. And ive almost exclusively used cross guard stance

I discovered this in new game plus, with the extra perk that randomizes your customizations upon death, I wound up with a mullet, a big old mustache, a pink poncho, green gloves, red pants, a poor BD who had the solar eyes, beat up antenna and covered in wires and exposed circuits. My lightsaber was a literal disco ball changing color every swing, and the crossguard made the lightsaber look like an arrow, on top of that it looked like the most uncomfortable thing to use as a sword, none of the stances made it look nice either. Needless to say this look survived three boss battles with the new game plus perk (extra damage dealt to enemies and to you) essentially making everything one shot to a cross guard and simultaneously making cal at max health and stims a two shot to the basic blaster bolt and one shot to any unblockable attack. Idk why this look survived so long it was a fashion disaster.

The reason people missed it is cause surprisingly.. (not actually) people aren't using crossguard stance due to how slow and cumbersome it feels compared to the rest of the stances more Fluid feeling..

I have 96.5% of Kobah explored and 100% everywhere else. I am just now discovering this feature!

I hope in future they add the ability to have the vents both sides of the blade, also having the prongs on the side of the saber without having the cross stance equipped
