Just like anywhere in England, some places have nice accents, some don't....

Something about the Scottish accent has always been so relaxing to me. It sounds like how it feels to be sitting in front of the fireplace drinking hot chocolate after sledding all day in the winter.

Make sure you travel to Dundee, then. That's where Shorty is from if I am not mistaken. Different parts of Scotland have different accents/dialects. Edinburgh is different than Glasgow, which is different than Inverness, which is different than Aberdeen. Personally the accent around Perth or Dundee is possibly my favorite. I'm very fond of Inverness, too. I could listen to Karen Gillan all day.

It's lovely to see people outside of the country appreciating our accents!! It probably sounds bizarre but in Scotland, Scottish accents have some negative connotations - namely stupidity, poverty and being "rough" - so it's nice :D

I love when you guide us around Scotland. I never want it to end.

Out of the past 4 years of watching asmr, this video is the only one that has ever given me tingles. I'm so glad to have been able to finally get them, thank you so much for this amazing video!

Mostly the same for me. It's one of the few that I watch multiple times. It's the whole storytelling that does it. While I do like some of the produced themed ASMR, you can't connect as much as you can with a simple storytelling. I could listen to Shortbread tell stories all day and it has that nostalgic, believable vibe from your childhood and mom and dad or teacher telling you stories.

This one was so good that I felt intoxicated. I was working on a lego set listening to thus video and started feeling an almost out of body experience. Your description of the surroundings was captivating and entrancing!

When people say they love "the" Scottish accent, yours is definitely what they mean! Don't think it'd have the same effect with a broad Weegie accent 😅
