Because her mother was against Hurrem. But she was Bayezid's love and mother to his children till her death....Bayezid was Hurrem's favourite surviving child.. So, there is difference or you say hypocrisy that when it's yours it's blood, else just water

I don't agree with saying she ever really supported bayezid. When nurbanu killed his wife (hurican) she helped not only cover it up, but blamed the mother of bayezids children. So he lost both the woman he loved because of his mother and sister in law. Hurrem continually supporting nurbanu was her biggest mistake.

Nurbanu didn’t endure crap, she was haughty and entitled from the beginning and got Selım drunk enough so that he’d actually sleep with her. If a man got a woman drunk like this and slept with her it would be rape.

Where did you read your history from? Hürrem, Mihrimah and Rüstum Pasha were all in Bayezid's side,even Selim II have a famous quote saying "The people wanted Mustafa,my father wanted Mehmet,my mother wanted Bayezid but Allah chose me"
