Fun Fact, apparently, the way they animated Huggy's vent sequence was just by animating the hands, and procedurally animated his body, allowing it to move with the fluidity and limpness of a ragdoll such as him.

@@m.barker1017 It's actually a fantastic sequence. The fear, for people who are susceptible to it, is built up very cleverly. The vent is seen as a safe haven at first from the monster chasing you, and it's not until you hear the mad scrambling sounds in the vent do you realize that you're still being chased. The scrambling noise coming from every direction, confusing you as to where the monster is, if it's even there. And then you turn around, and see the weird unnatural movements of the monster in the dark. Making it so much more terrifying knowing there IS something chasing you and it's not just a noise. And it brings up the question, is it multiple creatures? Is it the same creature but with the ability to shape shift? Fills your mind with questions. Then as you run you come to a bunch of dead ends and corridors, forcing you to react quickly and think on your feet, which is hard to do when under pressure. Again, if you're susceptible to horror this really enhances the experience. The only thing that really lets the sequence down is the music. The intense music really does nothing to help the chase. If you don't find it scary, it's because you're just hard to scare. And that's fine. Not everyone finds games or movies scary. But from a psychological and game design view point, this sequence is a terrifying masterpiece.

I love how he completely missed the first initial jump scare when he makes the toy and then goes down that dark hallway where he meets Huggy and didn’t even notice the build up scare parts before that. I think he doesn’t get scared because he just so happens to miss literally everything meant to genuinely scare him.

This just goes to show how subjective horror is. I use to have a roommate who reacted just like this to horror games and movies. Our friends and I tried to find shit, but he never cracked. I on the other hand cannot play horror games whatsoever. Horror movies I can do no problem, but there's something about games that just put me in full on panic mode. If there's anyone with me while I'm playing I'll involuntarily toss the controller to them at the peak of the scare/chase.

I can't do either. I can stand this because it isn't as scary as fnaf, which game me nightmares for a whole year. But I can't play any horror games. I just watch. I can't watch any scary movies either.

Things that literally every single youtuber who plays this does: 1. High five Huggy 2. Say something along the lines of "I'm a genius" when they do the train code at the beginning of the game 3. Forget who tf Poppy is cuz Huggy Wuggy is the only concern in this chapter

Bro the fact the he somehow managed to not notice Huggy's spawning in and then got glitched by him and yeeted causing the surprise of the whole thing to just be wasted. I know Charlie doesn't and probably wouldn't have gotten scared by it, but it's a little upsetting that he didn't get at least surprised by it's entrance. No-one's fault though. Not like he could have known.

I'm actually offended by how Chalie isn't afraid of Huggy at all. Like not only did was he looking AWAY from Huggy when he first emerged, but the game didn't even have the heart to kill him because Charlie didn't even realize what was happening so it just launched him away! Huggy was like "Alright man, you're not scared so I'm not even going to bother killing you." XD

I'm actually studying this right now xD Fear and disgust are completely unrelated emotions. Fear is more instinctual (though it can have cultural influences), while disgust is completely culturally based.

I was hysterical when he was just looking the other direction when he was supposed to be looking at the jumpscare and then he got flung perfectly to where he needed to go

It isn’t a animatronic, it’s human brains organs and stuff inside the “vessels” Also this is the first time I saw somebody accidentally hang themselves, in any game.

Charlie just makes the game look like a bad joke the way he just ruins each "scare" on accident.

i like how when Charlie gets to the Huggy Wuggy chase at the "make a friend" station, he bugs out Huggy's collision and launches right where he needs to escape but continues to try and attack Huggy. What kills me is that when he hears the music, he immediately thinks that another toy is being made

I think charlie doesnt get scared by horror games because he doesn't care if he dies, so he thinks "it's just a game, i can respawn"

To be fair this is actually a pretty well made horror game and would scare probably anyine besides charlie

mans has missed almost all of the small little scares and hints towards huggy, but honestly I kinda respect that edit: ok im a little further on into the video and I'm at the point where the main reveal happens with huggy and I didn't even know you could frick that up so bad. But again this has kinda shed new light on how the game could be experienced. In a not scary way
