Thanks for the great video! Just wondering about e39 and e36 with the round port under the bonnet... the OBD ports for these only access OBD functions. Is it possible to use this with an adapter that plugs into the round port and if so, is any finctionality lost in using said adapter? Could any adapter be used or is there a specific one? Hey. I am shopping around for a new car right now after selling my f36 and after i've visited 3 cars i've found 2 of them with mileage roll back like 100k kms both with the n57TOP engine. I've found that these guys rolled back the mileage on the cluster and maybe the transmission ( I wasn't using ISTA i was using Bimmerlink) but it was done so recently (most likely) that the DPF still had the original KM's on it from it's last Regen. Is there a way to check for mileage/km in ISTA and/or in every module?

Agree this is very exciting. As far as I can tell this is a Launch x431 derivative. Their stuff has always been very good. Saying that Autel is still better for the 90s BMWs (My Launch failed on my ABS faults on my Z3 and my E38 giving the wrong codes) for the older cars I keep an old Maxidas to hand. Another one to keep an eye on is the Xtool Anyscan. For about 140 pounds you get all car makes with bi directions and many service functions. Free updates for life. Xtool fails badly on the 90s BMWs and do not give freeze frames on BMWs yet. They are certainly worth having and have improved a lot over the last few years. You can never have too many scan tools...

This will pick up ALL codes very very well indeed without the need of Autel or any of them these OBD mobile dongles have advanced a lot believe me the fact this can program and code is a must and can access every ECU parameter is just a bonus alone. Forget the big laptop these days no need

I just bought one one of these. Really good tool, but i need to register a bmw battery, it seems like i need to do it through programming/coding and with my iphone i get a pop up that says its only available for android? I dont have acces to any android devices but im also new to this so please explain if im doing something wrong or how else to go about doing this.

I was gona buy one but what's the point I dnt just fix 1 or 2 makes of cars, so I pay £70 for it to only work on the 1 or 2 cars I choose in the beginning thn have to pay £16.99 for it to work on another make of car that's not right what's the point of buy one, to get it to work on 10 more different cars gona cost me £170, scam tool by the sounds of it, might aswel put my £250 together now and get something much better and get it to work on every car I need it for. scan tool my bum SCAM TOOL just away to make more money I get it if it was £5 or £10

dean i only index my spark plugs on my motorcycle as of right now. have you or do you always index your plugs? that makes a lot of difference on my 88 big twin

Only on my R1 bro I do that, on cars I never bother no need bro trust me motorbike engine is different so they must be indexed on them engines as there high revving so need the spark and fuel mixture accurate to make the power properly bro.

Most LAUNCH models can be ECU CODING, but there are really only a few devices that can be PROGRAMMING, such as PAD V, PAD 7

when the 2 years are up can you still use the software you already have? biggest question I think

It's a clone version of Launch. Company's like thinkdiag and topdon use the launch software but are always a bit behind.

iPhone 12 Pro 512GB but this app does not take much memory at all as it’s all installed to the dongle itself not the app.

i use this scan tool for years now and i can tell you its the best scan tool you can find wich works on every car! you can do basic funktions as well as advanced stuff like injector,key and other programmings its not the cheapest one but every penny will pay out! forget about wow or delphi etc..

A lot of reasons / access to ALL parameters in the ECUS every single one fitted to your car. The ability to program the modules and code them. Carly is limited to only coding and you have to pay for all different features you want and also destroys cars aswell. This is safer and gives you full ability to do whatever you wish unlike Carly that treats its customers like a baby and wants to control the user This is one price and unlocks everything and can do everything on all models of cars

And for every car and every functinon u must pay extra 30-40$?!?!?! Niiiice For that kind of money u can buy proper tool
