I love that it became a troll vs troll game with trap basers vs roof campers, then trap basers vs each other, with a guy building a sign to warn people off so they'll go for his trap instead. That was genuinely hilarious. Everybody's just a dick and I love it. I fucking love Rust.

It wasnt even about the trap base anymore - it was about ruining those campers. Great vid.

That's what I love about rust. All's fair baby. Some whine about trap bases, some about raids, some about roof camping. But at the end of the day, it's all great, all valid, and all hilarious, as long as you're prepared for the inevitable asshurt and counter response. Favorite part for me is when they built an even bigger tower in response. It'd have been funny as hell if the original guys tried to build their tower up and it just became a competition of who could build higher XD

I built your 2x2 and some clan tried raiding through the stair bunker and only used c4 but they didn't relize if you use c4 on the bunker it doesn't splash so it takes 16 c4 to break both stairs thanks for the goat base

With this trap you should have the first set of double doors open outwards so it blocks the doorway

Damn i haven't laughed this hard at a rust video, since ever. You are the Ryan Reynolds of Rust and i'm fangirling you from now on.

This is probably the most authentic Rust experience of most videos. It may've been a small part of the video, but showing how difficult it was just to place down the first foundations just speaks to me

On some modded servers, there are also doors that are transparent on one side but solid on the other, so you can use it as a front door on your base for example and see if anyone is outside doorcamping you. Or you can use it on a trap base to see when people have come into the base.

NEW TRAP BASE IDEA - use use door controls to make a revoling door trap. you see a base with doors flapping opening and shut, you think its a electrical bug. but the doors push you threw a small maze that sends you into a trap.
