I read a romance last year and the main character also has autism, it's called "A girl like her", and it was so nice to read her perspective. Also it's by a Black author and her characters are really diverse.

My depression has made reading and writing near impossible for me to enjoy like I used to, and finding your channel has managed to spark my reading again. I finished six of crows and crooked kingdom in about four days after watching your videos and wanting to know what was up. My depression still drives me into the ground most days, but I got two books finished and it feels like that wall in my head has gone down a bit. I'm dealing with depression right now as well, and what really lifted my spirits recently was Murderbot Diaries series by Martha Wells. It's about a security android who hacks his own system, but instead of doing whatever he wants to, he watches TV all the time. The character is pessimistic introvert and sarcastic softie all at ones, and following his adventures is such escapism at the times like this. It's really funny, and if you like sci-fi just a bit - pick it up, it will make you laugh! Also, it's a series of novellas, so it reads quickly.

@@withcindy I'm trying it! I have trouble focusing and it's easier to find my place with a physical book, but sometimes I just can't even hold my body up lol so audiobooks are really helping. It makes me feel a little better you recommend audiobooks too, part of my self criticism is like "well you didn't read it yourself so does it count". if you liked "the kiss quotient", I think you'll love "get a life, chloe brown". I read them both this month and chloe brown felt like a better, deeper tkq - which I also liked!! -. I gasped out loud, had to stop readind and had all kind of reactions to the book. It was an awesome experience. there is a hot men with self-estime issues!! and the disability plot line is more developed

I LOVE Samurai of Hyuga as well as other Choice of Games and Hosted Games books and novels! I've been feeling guilty lately for just reading interactive books since every time I attempt to read regular ones, I miss having to make decisions and such. haha! it's so nice to encounter someone who reads these type of books too. :D

I really loved Little Fires Everywhere! The custody battle was so interesting because I didn't know where I stood. On one hand, I was really thrown off that the mother abandoned her baby, and thought that she deserved to be with a family who... didn't abandon her. But on the other hand, that perspective is coming from my privileged background, so when you sit and think about how Bebe really didn't have options at her disposal, it makes the whole thing more complex. I thought the show was really good too! Overall, interesting story.

Omg I love hot guys who have a “healthy” amount of self-esteem issues too! First of all, it just makes them way more real and relatable like a REAL HUMAN BEING. I have never met a guy who isn’t (secretly) insecure about some aspects of his being EXCEPT when that person is also a total narcissistic asshole. Besides, I totally agree that insecure/vulnerable (but hot) men are often easier to impress than those handsome & arrogant dudes who think they’re absolutely PERFECT like the Superman (when they’re NOT!!🤢)

Ya'll, I'm Cindy trash and I love hearing "unsub from my channel" at the end of every video but now I'm worried she only started doing that cause romance trash traumatized her and I'm scared to go back too far into the videos. What if.... what if she used to tell people to SUBSCRIBE??? 😱😱😱 What would my life even BE anymore??? That said, awesome video as always!
