Would never pay over list for a Datejust. That one is very nice. But it's a piece to buy at list.

@@historicaleditor369 10 months prior, when i got put on the list, we bought a 2 tone datejust for the lady. We wanted it. Our first Rolex's. There was a strategy though. I got on list days after Watches and Wonders for a new model, we did get a ladies before they were scarce, was left handed, were there as a couple, were new to watches, hit it off with one of the salespeople. No BS involved, just were polite and genuinly excited. All probably worked to our advantage.

Not any of the modern ones. They all use white gold for indices and hands to prevent corrosion
