What's up guys! Here's a look at an awesome new robot vacuum running around my house from ECOVACS - the DEEBOT N8 Pro+! If you want to automate the cleaning process in your home and make it effortless (as far as vacuuming/mopping of course), this thing is awesome! 😳

It looks exactly as Deebot T8, same robot, same auto-empty bin. What's the difference?
I upgraded from the 950 to the N8 Pro (no auto empty station). Moved the 950 upstairs to handle 700 sq/ft. The N8 Pro downstairs for 3000 sq/ft. Nice upgrade in features in the app compared to the 950. Seems to clean just as well as the 950. The 950 took about 2 days to map my 1st floor the way I wanted. It took me 5 days to map with the N8 Pro my 1st floor because of it getting stuck when the 950 didn't, sporadic mapping algorithm of doing 1/2 a room to finish later, hitting the wrong button when it got stuck and having to start over, and shorter battery life of taking 3 charge breaks to finish mapping. The only ding is the shorter battery life compared to the 950. I wish they used the 950 battery pack or made an external battery pack that attached to the mopping station if you need a longer run-time for just vacuum only.
I remember see'in those on multiple TV commercials.
That's pretty cool, it can clean Luigis mess.

What happens if you don't have wifi can you still use it?
I had a Ozmo 950 for a short while, but could not connect to smart iphone 6 with the app;Therefore could not do a floor mapping. It was good cleaning, I could get two and half hours of cleaning out of it. I am interested in the N8 Pro, butworried about the connection problem. Any advise re level of smart phone. Could not use Apple, had to go through Google, so in effect neither worked for me.I was really disappointed.
Is this the same as the T9+ ? ... Or is that a completely different product
This is hilarious. I have the Ecovacs t8 + and all Ecovacs did here is rename the line to 'N'. If Ecovacs does not step up and make the changes necessary to their firmware and application software, they will be left behind. The Ecovacs 't' series has problems with both its 3D detection and Drop Sensors when encountering throw rugs. If the carpet has contrast of dark to light colorsthe robot will traverse in circles believing it is going to fall. There is no way to turn this off so I blinded my 'drop' sensors with masking tape solving that problem. The 3D detection is also faulty. When the robot encounters a throw rug and lifts the rug which happens quite often, the 3D sensor sends the robot in circles. I turned off the 3D detection and solved the problem except that the robot can then encounter messes, like dog crap, and then you really have problems. Lastly, the robot's lidar does not like reflective surfaces such as stainless steel, glass, and mirrors. The robot avoids these by not getting close to these reflective surfaces, therefore, no edge cleaning. Would I have bought the Ecovacs t8+ if I knew of these problems? Most likely not. You have been warned.
