I 100% get you man. it feels like a lot of roblox games, jojo or not, right now are kind of the same thing with varying levels of quality, and when people with valid criticisms actually speak out about it, they either get silenced or ignored. im not gonna name the devs, but 2 devs that have an extremely popular anime game rn actually kicked me from their balancing team because i said that i didnt like ONE part of their newest update at the time. its honestly crazy how these people either pretend and/or genuinely believe ur just hating on them when ur trying to help them. its good to see devs that actively ask for feedback and dont get pissy when their game is criticized, but even those devs usually don't change much with the game, and even if they do it ususally makes the game worse.

I’m glad you’re honest when you make these videos. So many KZreadrs would just praise the game for nothing. So many of those games get popular just because people are desperate for a new anime game. This I feel like is especially the case for Jojo and One Piece games, every time a new one releases it gets tons of players and dies off in a month or less.

i did kinda same. i bought private, got gamepass for stand storage, got the rarest skins there was for spoh, twoh and mih deimos (mih deimos was SS skin, and the only things u can trade this for was cmoon skins that would help you get deimos AGAIN) and just quit. trading is literally useless in this game. and during my "skin farm", there were literally NO UPDATES. so yeah, after you got best skin in game, game becomes REALLY boring

People really have to get more unique when it comes to their game titles, because it’s probably a big reason a bunch of these games don’t do well, their all blending in with each other.

I also want to just pint out how ridiculous the passive healing is. When in a 1v1 someone can just run away for like a minute and they're usually back to full health making combat take forever.

I like how this video was in the best of eclipse 2022 but you posted it now goes to show how, like you said in the stream, it was taking a long time for the video to release.

The problem with ABD alike games is that they will never feel remotely as good as ABD simply because it induces nostalgia while they do not and that simple fact makes it much more enjoyable.

I don't know how ABD exactly nailed it down, but it felt a lot more possible to hang out with people and even host tourneys in public servers compared to later games inspired by ABD. I think that's what these ABD inspired games fail to achieve.

multiple problems aswell, for example each direction of dash has its own cooldown so you can just dash back right forward left for some reason

i used to play this!... then my whole stand inventory was wiped...

don't downplay yourself man, you don't have to be a mathematical genius to be able to create roblox games. all you really need is motivation and that alone will get you pretty damn far

My biggest gripe(s) is that when you and another person barrage, you and the person dont take any damage, sometimes when you try to do your special moves, they dont work, the specials can get cancelled by one punch, and knockback moves are necessary for getting out of combo's because the combo dodge is a special, oh also the lack of direction is comically bad along with the horrendous pay to win

hey eclipse.Just a word from someone who played the game back when you only had like SP, TW and SPTW. Basicaly the reason that the cooldowns are that long is cause a lot of the moves can combo into eachother, so it would end up with people having infinate combo's which is prob why they made it that way. Btw as far as i know the boss spawn this is there to skip the bossfight spawn time. Bosses as far as i know have a spawn timer. So waiting 60 minutes to fight DIO is why a lot of ppl used to stand still

To Eclipse: The quirk of time acceleration is actually creating somewhat augmented dimensional versions of your character with a different stand because why not

I really enjoyed this video but I do have to say some stuff. So about the character thing about you becoming jotaro, you can turn it off. Second when you became pucci it was because of a universal reset from the mih. Third bosses spawn themselves and the robux bit is just to spawn them earlier once again very well constructed video!

Hey Eclipse, do you plan on doing a revisit to AUT once they push this Combat Rework out? If so, and you find it enjoyable, do you think you could bring back the stand analysis videos you used to make on the game?

Well to explain some things, there are invisible wars. They're just a little farther out. Also, you can disable the character thing in the settings. When you got/lost WS, that was universe reset. Bosses spawn every half hour or so with a 50% chance. This is a very skin based game, and you can get arrows/rokakakas from Vinegar Doppio to get better stuff. The low HP and running thing wasn't actually caused by low HP, there's also a blue stamina bar below your ultimate bar which lowers if you run for long periods of time or dash a lot. Sorry if you already knew some of this stuff, figured it might help.

When eclipse finally shows him winning after 100 videos of him ending the video with a fight with a cliff hanger

in my perfect JoJos game, I'd say there is a clear cut line between what is effective, and what is overpowered, cooldowns for basic barrages or some other rapid attacks are 1 to 2 seconds long, a heavy hit being 3 seconds. Any healing being about 10 econds but fi you only get like 15 hp back the cooldown would be much shorter, any moves that genuinely prevent enemies from fighting back, or lock them in place have some decent 30-40 second cooldowns. Any moves that are used for movement only get about a 1 second cooldown, any trump card I win- kinda moves like timestop or timeskip or anything would have a minute long cooldown. And any hard hitting moves like roadroller have about a 30 second cooldown, Theres a hit meter and if you do anymore then 10 hits the enemy has a small window to press ctrl and evade the attack, and then counter attack Stands would have an obvious effective playstyle or range, like heriphant green would have moves suited to medium range, whereas the world has much more clsoe range moves, something like that. Projectiles have pretty consistent hitboxes. And thered be 2 gamemodes: Balanced" and "Anime Accurate" Balanced gets what's listed above, anime accurate gets real anime things, like the world having no timestop cool down. Not balanced, but better for i guess maybe private server roleplays or something? or just a bigger challenge.

If you hadn't noticed the bosses have a timer on when they respawn. Similar to crusaiders heaven. Dio spawn every 30 minutes on 50% chance, pucci spawns every 1 hour and on a 50% chance the rest is something like that

The graphics and character art for the game is really cool tho

no, it's just a visual bug where it "Restarts" your quest which makes it say 0 and stay at 0 but you know you completed the quest when the ui disappears

Good review but there’s some things you should probably know that the game doesn’t tell you: 1. The reason why you keep turning into Pucci is because that’s one of MiH’s abilities, which is to universe reset. It shifts every players ability into a different one every time it’s activated. 2. Paying robux isn’t the only way to spawn bosses, like most other games you have to wait an absurdly long amount of time (30 minutes with a 1/2 chance for DIO) for bosses or items to spawn. Honestly I blame the devs for most of this because they didn’t bother to add a tutorial or some kind of in game wiki to guide new players on where to go. They pretty much just spawn you in and say “have fun”. I agree that there is barely any depth in the story line, only a few quests that are just there for money farming.

I don’t remember if you’ve done a video about ABW:R, got the axe when it got swept up by AUT and the devs lost steam. It really sucks because the game felt fresh, and I wanted to see where it could go. I recommend it highly even if it’s just the combat that makes it stand out

i think the point ebyond the fence is for an easier spot to 1v1 in, less 3rd parties, open area, much more satisfying to fight in

I won't say anything about the bad game design, bugs or whatever, but the pvp system. The pvp system does not look consistent and it is probably combo m1 stun based thingy like aut on release, but got some sort of combo escape move. Meanwhile why is yba pvp system good? Parry system Lingering hitboxes Pvp consistency No m1 stun that confirms moves

This fact isn’t really changing anything, but bosses spawn after some time. So you are not forced to buy the boss spawn thing

Even though it isn’t a jojo game, or even an anime game for that matter, I’m wondering if you’ll play Arcane Odyssey when it comes out? It’s a sequel to the top roblox rpg from like 2015, and a lot of the roblox community is heavily looking forward to it’s release in February. It’s so far seeded to be a MASSIVE game, with lots of stories, interesting side questlines, a main storyline, multiple ways of progression, build diversity, a long-term update roadmap, status effect synergies, character building, community interaction through clans, bosses, sea combat, magic, sword, and fist combat, combination builds, a reputation system, and even a “rival” system in which a criminal npc that you select as your rival will appear for you in different servers, leveling up more as you defeat it over and over, getting better loot drops as it levels up. It’s shaping up to be an incredibly good game for the roblox platform

Okay so what if for the combo break it does something similar to MK where if you use the combo exit, you do a “get off me” animation (like flexing out your arms) and knock the opponent backwards? Makes it seem like the enemy didn’t lag out of your move and in my opinion, the current one is so predictable to the point that I just TIME SKIP to continue the combo. The current one just sucks

Man you need to see the new reworks in YBA, sure they arent like the old ones but they are still pretty amazing.

I'm not sure about the robux part tho, random boss (aka Jotaro p6, Pucci, Dio) spawns every 30 minutes but whatever I guess

Project menacing is pretty much a 1 week game atleast, the only time i play it is when i have nothing to play or when my friend plays it

At first, they had no stamina or ultimate meter so you could actually pull off combos, but now you can't do that. They added the USELESS bars because they make combat "better" or more "interesting".

I'm not a charity worker. I've got work to do, and relationships to maintain. I don't have the time to test random strangers games on the internet, especially when like 70% of them don't ever even release

It's even funnier when you notice that you don't actually have to pay to fight the bosses, you gotta wait 30 Minutes / 1 hour and there's a 1/3 chance that they spawn (If i remember correctly), but that is no excuse. They give absolutely no sign that you can do that, so imagine you're just a casual player and you really wanna fight Dio, so you get a stand, you buy the boss, probably don't even get the item because the chance of you killing him is almost non-existent, and boom, you've wasted both of your time and money.

4:50 no one show eclipse the old Time Accel (1 or 2 updates ago from rn). Imagine the fov change but it was from 90 to 180 fov

Yeah your right, I just have low standards and enjoy seeing how different games approach adding stands

I played this game a while back with my friends and some of the beatdowns had an outrageously large range and when we got hit by one we were always so mad about it

this game isnt prob in a demo anymore after the data reset, and thats why theres boss spawns for robux and what not. They prob forgot to remove the demo, and im kinda still mad they didnt add ranked pvp or any type of pvp to fight in.

at least they wanted to see feedback

i think its a fun game and i under stand you eclips it has its own bad stuff's but its still a great game in my heart
