I personally use Nebula instead for the passive dmg and mod generation. And for those who have problems hitting weakspots: theres a ring that makes you not being able to hit weak spots but increase crit chance. Since Faerins Sigill functions with Weak spots AND crit, it might be a good alternative

the faerin/faelin (and a few other modpower rigs) are currently bugged and can charge a mod during its runtime. its known and on the fix list

I’m still using this build post nerf with the amulet! I literally just beat the game on veteran this past weekend! Final boss is insane but I did it. Im glad someone is still running this build. I plan on using this in nightmare soon. Just gota get Faerin ring in adventure mode! Keep up the content!

im currently still running this gun with a bleed/fire build and its the only build ive seen that can sustain 3-4k dps and stay alive due to the free lifesteal. if you are constantly popping nightfall's mod u get lifesteal for every shot.

Was running this before this videos came out.

I think something is wrong. I have the exact build set up, hitting weak points. However, it doesn’t seem to count my weak point hits during Dreadwalker as mod power - I always get out of it with none built up. It works at the target range fine, but for whatever reason it doesn’t seem to want to carry over mod power built up during the mod usage. I noticed it started doing this after Xbox received the patch; I was running something similar before this and it performed just like it did in this video. Not sure what is going on but it is causing me to bench the build for right now.

Yep, Nightfall + Faerin's Sigil is a endless Loop but Laemir Censer is CRAZY for DPS-phase. I discovered this amulet a while ago for myself and wished i could show/tell this others, thank you that you did it ❤

Archon as a main or secondary , with that amulet and I forget which ring increases mod duration for 15% in place of faerin sigil is OP. Got me through nightmare easily. But you don't need to hit any critical or weak spots for it to refresh the mod. If i dont hit any weak spots it's about 4 shots before the mod refreshes. You just life steal for days while dealing decent damage. I have never had my nightfall hit over 1k thiugh on apocalypse. Must be the hunter skill.

@@tylerthomas5304 *thinking* hmm.. yeah archon could be a interesting choice, to for on side have a little bit more offense/defense balance and on the other side archon is just THE mod (power) archetype. And with archon you mb aim more for play-everywhere. But for dps/boss-phase i think the choice of Crazymrpipz is top-notch ^^

@@hunsley8122 yeah man, forsure it's not the best damage build. But I think most people are not hitting weak spots as regularly, I'm gonna try doing this build for the damage. 1k hits is huge. And the fact he was playing on apocalypse its definetly worth it. Wish I tried this last week on annihilation. Took me days of dying before I beat him (no rewards, bugged out, kinda devastating) had I tried this which is very similar I wouldn't have died to Those stupid orbs towards the end so many times. If they fix the reward bug I'm definetly doing another apocalypse run. But if you're a casual player archon is definitely awesome for mod spamming as well.

@@tylerthomas5304 that with the weak spot is a really good point and on top of that some weakspots are really hard to hit and last but not least some enemies/bosses have no weakspot at all. Hey i struggled so hard with annihilation XD but now with a lot of practice & even more deaths i kinda enjoy this fight, but what really terrifies me is Venom idk why but im always more scared of him than the endboss XD note; in case u didn't knew, thaen fruit can be golden ;) especially on HC

You should never listen to the wider community. How many people have finished this game on apocalypse? Maybe ten percent. At best. But everyone wants to have an opinion these days. Nightfall will never be a bad choice. Its an absolute beast. The "nerf" was so minor. Barely noticeable. It feels like the gun was specifically made for HUGS.

I wouldnt say never BUT a lot of people say things they really dont know for sure:) like for example people telling me to use Butchers amulet with my Turret build but it doesnt do anything for turrets :D and there is so many things like that but at the end of the day I love these discussions

btw that special ring that makes weakpoint damage build mod power work ONLY on guns that have a non removable mod(building during the usage phase of the mod), so this works pretty well with the moon bow too, 2 or 3 weakpoint crit shots will instantly have your bow's mod available, so for those bosses that you are sure you arent going to always hit that weakpoint with ur nightfall, the bow works perfect because you will prob be able to hit the crit spot 2 to 3 time, works amazingly on deciet too because you create a weakspot that you can make crits happen onto

Hey there. Great video. One thing that confuses me: In the description of the Dreadwalker mod it says that it disables other weapons and skills for its duration. How can you still use Gunslinger and Hunter skill then while the mod is active?

thanks! use the skills first and than use dreadwalker, the mod DISABLES the ability to activate skills after you start using it

really great build, i never tried OG nightfall but to me, the nerfed version still feels great ngl. Also is it just me or ring of flawed beauty is stll bugged? it doesnt seem to provide 25% increase

I m a beginner in this game and stuck to kill annihilation boss i m using handler as primary and medic as secondary but for weapons i m using nightfall and enigma difficulty is super easy and boss is super hard

bro after a ton of tests, to me, deadly calm dealt the most damage. Have you ever compared momentum with deadly calm? Maybe i miss something but deadly calm outperforms momentum in every scenario for me. I'm curious to hear your opinion.

I always love it when you see titles like this and the build is only shown against one or two of the easiest bosses in the game. You never see build videos showcase boss performance against say... Venom. Really shows you that the author only spent like 10 minutes playing this build before putting out the video.

Word. I always appreciate creative builds and fun builds that may not be optimal but people really need to show builds against ACTUAL fights. Things like nightweaver since she more or less doesn’t have a weak spot almost the whole fight. And the final three bosses, cancer, venom and annihilation. Because those three are on a whole other level compared to the rest of the game in terms of health/dmg

well not every boss needs to be killed with the same build right? I think the beauty of BUildcrafting and games like remnant in general is the fact that every lock needs a different key, and haveing different builds for different bosses it what makes it fun for me personally:)

On console I'm just not hitting headshots like that.

Yes. HUGS has by far the highest sustained DPS in the game. No point running anything else at the moment unless other classes get a buff

Gunslinger makes the fire rate also faster. Hunter and gunslinger combo dismantle bosses.

It def helps DPS, however when people say other classes are worthless that is COMPLETELY NOT TRUE, I have beaten 90% of Apocalypse with a Melee build and a summon build and those were arguably much easier runs than HUGS builds :D people just dont like to experiment bythemselves, they see a video and a creator that says this is the only thing that is good and BOOM now everyone says only these ITEMS and only these CLASSES are good :D

Savior is kinda like a bow build but more so like a Deceit build. You just don't use the Change melee part.

Update: I was one of the unlucky people that had the momentum bug. They released a ps5 patch today fixing it and now my DPS is much higher.

I have everything u have but in the range the dps i get to is like 4.3k but your getting 6k somehow ?

a build doesnt have to be the one and only, every build has its ups amd downs, when u have a boss with a weakspot use this setup if u so wish, when u have a boss that rushes u, use a good melee dps build and so on:) its just a good option thats all

@@Crazymrpipz Fun Fact: becouse the giant damage the granade can cause, Gwendil is the best boss to get the "Only Human" trophy but perfect aim is needed for it, or a few lucky Chaos Driver right into the granade hand and Gwendil goes down like, 5 sec, 10 sec top. 😁

How do u get the dps so high in ur videos? My nightfall is level 10, I have all the same rings n amulet but mine does around 1000 dps? Same with the bolt driver video, yours does like 5000 dps but mine does 1000 with all the same equipment/mutators etc, what am I missing?

Sometimes ppl fuck up the hunter gaze and they start shooting without actually proc’ing it so make sure u have it proc’d at all times maybe that’s one of the reasons but ur dmg should be the same

Yep brother that's right No disrespect for the uploader but you will notice a lot of build videos that just doesn't work! Noticed that in division and now this game I mean I tried this exact build in adventure mode and it is squeeeeeshy even as you avoid and FYI the mod doesn't charge fast as he says at all

this is the same HUGS build that existed on day 3 of this game being released. there's nothing new here. good luck playing this on Apoc unless you're literally perfect. the mod compels you to shoot; the 'dodge' mechanic is trash and doesn't work well on it. it gets you dead.

Character power is massively nerfed from the 1st Remnant but it feels like enemies hit as hard as they always have, thats why all you see is Immortal build and HUGS. There may be a few exceptions but build diversity is so limited on harder difficulties and the only content is to play harder difficulties. I just hope we get survival soon or something new.

HUGS is the best option in the game right now. Period. I finished this game with HUGS on apocalypse. What's the point running a tank build when on apoc you can only take 2 hits anyway

You aren't wrong. Ankh gives you 30% more damage from all sources after popping a relic. But those 5 seconds more mod duration might be worth it. It's 5 seconds more healing. In apoc this can come in clutch. Apoc is a completely different beast.
