An actually creative build that isn't just another poorly optimised havoc build. Genuinely nice stuff, I've been curious how to make this skill do work and heaps of great ideas here. Here's a fun interaction I found for it. Doing a warm hole + opportunist melee attack with some weapons seems to generate a lot of sand devils. Assassin dagger backstab with the guaranteed crit from opportunist, wormhole bonus, and weak spot from innate effect gets all stacks in one hit. So you can potentially maintain a sequence of wormhole -> backstab crit -> pop Lysusa with invoker prime and enough cooldown reduction (I've been running legacy protocol + burden of rebel+ expertise + relic fragment + xeno concoction to hit 75% CDR and still have 3 ring slots for crit damage stacking. Wormhole also procs Accari which could be a good option to boost the Lysusa bursts further. Hard countered by flyers sadly like many fun melee builds but it's great fun for areas and bosses it works against.

@@IHaveInsipidus yeah the wormhole buff where it auto triggers all "on perfect evade" effects is GOATed. Just a nutty amount of damage with guaranteed crits from opportunist. 4k + assassin charged backstabs. Hit 16k on wormhole -> backstep charged head shot with wrathbringer. Lysusa is such a nice compliment to get more crit damage and some AoE.

@@alsozara I put together a backstab build earlier with exactly that ; perfect evade with assassins dagger hittin about 4k weakspot crit with opportunist. Man. So fucking cool. Can't lie, wormhole can be a bit inconsistent when actually "teleporting" behind an enemy, but when the build get's rolling, it's so fun to use.

Appreciate the Brittle Build, sir! Just thinking about it this weekend.

Hey awesome build! I myself have been using summoner combined because the lydusa staggers so summoner gives me back 50% plus(with rings amulets ofc) so I basically infinitely stagger the boss causing them to never move or do damage. Loving these builds and invoker !!

Way of Lydusa is also better than the other 2 skills for Cooldown Reduction on your other archetype due to the sand detonation triggering the prime perk constantly.

right! your secondary skill can pretty much be kept up indefinitely. I think of ritualists first skill especially when considering this, along with challengers war stomp, gunslinger quickdraw, etc

Doom, Gloom, and FUD are wack & a waste of time lol. I always stay positive in my vids bro!✊🏻 the devs know best, and there are so many ways to kick everything’s ass in Remnant. Nerfs are necessary when the devs feel they are, and not to mention, with this recent patch over 90% of the changes were buffs. Oh well. Can’t stop doomers from dooming. Enjoy the build 😁

Love the build. For future reference though, putting the rings and amulet along the bottom of the screen just gets all their text covered up by the stupid youtube duration red bar when you pause to take a look.

Yes. It’s a little clunkier due to animations but absolutely possible. I think monolith’s sandstorm and ring of spears are the absolute best two mods to run with a Lydusa build, so use whatever melee you like! I would recommend keeping shielded strike to stay invincible and having as high melee attack speed as you can.

If you are able, there is a new ring for Engie called Ring of Ordnance. Might enjoy a basically unlimited ammo heavy weapon build.

So those aren’t concoctions, they’re consumables. Sweet leaf, Gul serum, and confidence booster (along with the mod regen one, the blue consumable)

A mix of high damage reduction and health. DR can’t save you if your base health is low. I pretty much always have max vigor and mudtooths tonic, and maybe a health ring. As of the second patch, it is a lot easier to proc shields and shield synergies, furthering your effective health significantly. Ring of spears and shielded strike is probably the best survival tool in the meta right now

something like burden of the departed, or you could opt for something like anastajia's inspiration to make the build feel smoother to use. more survivability is also an option as well; apoc is tough!

Did they nerf excess coil with latest patch? Cuz it doesn't stack and yes you can keep 25% shield up permanently but not fill your hp bar with shield like you did in the video.

I'm missing just a few things still, but I'm not getting remotely the same cooldown resets you are trying this, and once the Lydusa is down it leaves you in a bad way.

Just damage stuff that I substituted slightly smaller damage stuff. Shaed stone, Burden of the Sciolist, and Cost of Betrayal. I replaced them with Ankh of Power, Burden of the Gambler, and Crimson Dreamstone. The cooldown I'm referring to is Invokers way of lydusa. It doesn't last very long with the jewelry skills and if you don't kill the boss in the two casts it's really slow to regen. Unless I'm just doing it wrong xD

The way I've been presenting the build at the end of the video is definitely still being "perfected", if you will. I'm experimenting and seeing what works best. I haven't used the build planner, but I think that might be a great idea moving forward. Thanks for the feedback :)

I think the interaction between Way of Lydusa and Sandstorm mod is unintentional. Pretty sure they will patch that

@IHaveInsipidus I mean the skill says it has to be melee or ranged damage to generate sand devils. Sandstorm should be mod damage thus not work for it.​ So seems like sandstorm has its damage type tagged incorrectly or similar. I mean it's happened before like corrupt Meridian primary fire counting as mod damage for a while when it was released. It does seem like a cool and thematic interaction though so would be nice if it stayed.

Tragic stated that the sandstorm that spawns from mirage will be counting as melee dmg as soon as they can patch it in (i.e. triggers certain melee mutators), so I would assume that this would be a similar case with sandstorm and monolith

@@IHaveInsipidus I believe melee weapons and mods bahave differently to range counter parts since all melee weapons mods or effects (if we can call them that) are counted as melee, not just Mirage. Range weapon mods however always categorized as mods only. I really think this is unintentional.
