Absolutely.

I'm gonna hate Ziz for at least a week. I only made it to lvl 13 to the Ship Graveyard, then got 5x charged by blue monsters from edge of screen. Couldn't even hit logout macro. And that was after 15-20 tries over 2 days. I give up, it's way too time consuming for me.

Roll marauder, grab splitting steel and decoy totem Grab all the early life nodes and armor gear Boom you just made it to A3 without even over leveling

@@SoulxWeaver Thanks for the advice, but that's pretty much what I was doing except with Scion and Ancestor Totem. I could probably have rerolled and got further with the knowledge, but honestly it's just not worth my time :)

It’s not for everyone, it’s your choice to play or not. The point of it is to be more difficult than the normal version. 🙃

I really doubt picking Marauder over Scion would change anything. According to Path of Building, the difference is negligible before Ascendency and I had easier/earlier access to about 30% elem res for 4 passive pts. Mix of sucking and bad luck. I'm 99% confident my class / build was not the issue.

I normally absolutely love Gauntlet but on this one I feel like a line was crossed. Having the campaign being so much harder and harder than white maps has effectively made it so that if you’re not a racer you don’t have a shot at even hitting 50. Still love seeing the incredible stuff the racers can do but half the fun of gauntlet for me has been pushing myself to my absolute limits and this is far beyond that.

I believe in CorgosDance, he ll run it back

ty ziz! i had some fun! really tough for me, but i dont normally do HC. made it to level 44 on a sunder marauder, then died to torchoak in act 4 🤣also, it's not really HC if you use a logout macro... just stop doing that already. bad form.

damn I wish I had more time to play games, would've had a go at the gauntlet even just for the lolz and challenge (never got beyond 2 voids, do not buy carrys, only 4 leagues)

pretty sure gauntlet is harder than ruthless, now if you combine the 2 it would be a 3 days just to get the gear to kill kitava and thats just not fun for anyone

Gauntlet makes the game challenging by buffing your enemies. Ruthless makes the game tedious by nerfing yourself. People like challenging thing, not tedious one.

Honestly it sucks just seeing the racers die a single time and just go "ok I'm out" and not even re-rolling once. They just play the exact same way, run into packs to not lose a single second compared to how they usually play....die for it and then quit.

Sad that instead of blaming ggg for shit def mechanics and not balanced mechaincs and skills in poe like nemesis mods or essence mods with which rare mobs become stronget than ubers or ubers itself, there are races in poe. Poe literally dying

PoE is game for no lifers who invest their ego to video game. For normal people some casual play of games like Diablo IV is far better.

Diablo 4 is not an ARPG tho. Its a mobil light version of lost ark, created for people that struggle to use a coffeemachine.
