Reminds me of this thing I had that was like a snake connecty type thing that you had to fold into a 3x3 cube. I was stuck on it for several days until I realized that the stringyness of the mechanism allowed me to push it THROUGH THE CORE and out the other side to complete its cubic shape

Sometime you have to think "inside" of the box to solve the puzzle - in this case, pushing the snake through the core! Sounds like an awesome puzzle - let me know if you remember what it was called!

It took me just 3 seconds to see the solution, since all piezes are 'flat' in other words, putted on the table all have the same heigth, so all must be putted in parallel. I recomend you another version where piezes are not 'flat', they have all 3 dimensions different size.
