    Hey Brian, Thanks for all of the hard work you do to educate us! In your segment, you mentioned that this can be used at the later stages of the life of ceramic coatings to increase its longevity. Can you do a segment on how to recognize when your coating is near the end of it’s life and what to do about it. Every youtuber shows you how to apply coatings, but nobody shows you how to deal with it at the end. Keep up the great work,

    @@notfound-qg2ii I'd just like to add a point of interest, Im not sure if anyone had to the opportunity to watch The Rag Company's Detalks Podcast with Fraser Gordon the Owner and Chemist of WoWo. He commented that Show Stopper is a pure gloss enhancer, and has no durability, 1 or 2 days worth maximum, and that point was emphasized. A closer comparison would be WoWo's Detail Spray, though that has limited durability as well, and won't compare to the Tac System's products in the durability arena; WoWo's Crystal Sealant would be Tac's equivalent, and Levi had some interesting experiences he shared when he was testing the product (Sorry mo spoiler, you'll have to watch it). So if it's just gloss to gloss then you can measure anything, though imo it's important to keep products matched in thier respective intended catagories. Check out the Podcast its very interesting. They discuss the product process before WoWo was available in the U.S., and what it took to reformulate the products for the U.S. users. It would be intetesting to see a gloss meter on all WoWo's LSPs. I'm super curious about thier Contact 121 Wax, in terms of performance as well as gloss. edit: TRC Podcast link kzread.info/dash/bejne/eYqBksaYnamdc8o.html

  • @tacsystemusa1702

    @tacsystemusa1702

    The lamps are not required. If you do not have lamps, you follow the normal curing times before water exposure to the surface or before applying a secondary coat. That is all. No lamps, no problem. Just keep temps at 55-75°f while applying and for at least 1 hour after. Dry for 24 hrs, no washing for 5-7 days.

    Great stuff as always Brian. TAC system appears to be the real deal. One Step Master is a bit confusing as a one step, unless it has some paint correction properties? I remember that Graphine had paint filling properties and high gloss. The new turtle wax Ceramic Wax does offer some paint correction with a bit of Si02. (no way near 25%) Where on the scale would you compare these? At the end of the day it still appears to be a 3 step process. A) Paint Correct, B) Coat, C) Top...IMO if your watching this type of media than you love your cars/motorcycles and you will be cleaning and topping often enough to not really bet to concerned about longevity. I have 3 year old GMC plow truck that sits outside with Bead Maker that looks and beads great. Thanks Dave

    TAC would quadruple sales overnight if they just sold and distributed through Amazon. You mentioned "filling in the weak spots" and reapplying coatings. That would make a very interesting video. I always assumed you had to go back to bare paint and start over. I'd definetly like to know how to evaluate and reapply an older coating.

    @@tacsystemusa1702 I too very much agree with his comment. I have heard nothing but positive things about your products, yet I have never bought one of them for two reasons... Either the products are out of stock, and/or the shipping cost makes it cost prohibitive. If your products were on Amazon, I would (without question) purchase them to remove the shipping cost. PLEASE reconsider your stance, your sales would DRASTICALLY increase!

    What type of towels do you recommend when buffing off a sealant? I've been using those cheap ones you get from local auto stores that come in a pack. They're thin and I'm not sure they're the right ones to use. Also are all applicator pads equal? (I doubt it)

    SpiritZer00 not sure they're terry towels. They say microfiber, but they're thin to me. I also don't think they're good for paint. I need a towel to buff off/level spray on products like seal and shine or bead maker.

    I am not sure if they changed the product since you reviewed this but my experience was very bad. I just purchased this and the bottle says 1-step master contains 20-25% SiO2 upgraded version. I have NEVER had a product this difficult to remove. It dries almost instantly while you are still applying to even a small section. It took a lot for me to get this off with a microfiber cloth even in as little as 20 seconds. I feel I just wasted my money.

    I know it’s a long (and expensive) shot, but I’d like to see Kamikaze Zipang Coat tested. It appears that Esoteric is the only distributor in the United States, and claims its a prosumer product, that anyone can order. There are a lot more distributors in the UK, but I can’t find one UK distributor to sell it as prosumer, even though they’re $100 cheaper than Esoteric. So, I’m guessing that there is a huge margin on it. Apparently, it’s self healing.

    @@apexdetail85. Thanks for replying. Yes I thought about 8 hours for the polishing. I did a BMW 3 series once. Was a hell of a mess. I didn't have a garage so had to keep washing the panels as I went. Ended up washing it 3 times in total. I learned right there that German cars have a thicker clearcoat than most. Took me 17 gruelling hours over 3 days.! But that was including the engine bay... Lol 😅🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
