I've been having success with Spirits of Necrotic and Synthoceps. Not only does it buff song of flame, but it also beefs up arcane needles even more

Just got this. So much damage

this build is just way stronger with necrotic grips. been running it this whole week carrying gms, getting 180 kills while others have 60-70. necrotic grips more than doubles your poisons damage because of the ramp. better ad clear and boss dps. you don’t need star eaters, you’re invincible and can clear a whole room with song of flame regardless

This is true, but I prefer to blend the benefits of necrotic’s ad clear and star eaters high damage on supers such as needlestorm and nova bomb with certain raid encounters such as planets and Templar

@@r6shorts479 needle storm doesn’t work properly with star eaters so it’s getting around 30% of the affect, this has been addressed but bungie is really slow to fix stuff on warlock, the poison from the bond is much weaker as well and I’ve tested this, it leads to it dealing about a quarter of normal necrotic grips damage

Been trying to get that roll

After I found out that thorn can't spread the poison If the poison part of It gets the kill anymore I Instantly swapped to Osteo, build Is great though love to see It. :) I noticed the thorn Interaction was changed long ago, haven't used the necrotic grips perk since then. It's sad because thorn Is so much fun to use. Thorn only spreads the poison If the bullet Itself gets the kill now, where weapons like Osteo will spread It regardless of whether It's the bullet or the poison from It getting the killing. Resulting In the old Infinite spreading of the poison aslong as there's enemies nearby.

And SMG have anti barrier so they get charged in harder content, Torn is nice to combat overload who seems to appear more imo.

@@officialspek7670 Damage on thorn Is higher but the poison It causes cannot spread Infinitely by Itself AND It only causes the poison explosion on kill If you get the killing blow with the bullet Itself. With the other weapons the poison will spreads and kill and Infinite amount of enemies by Itself without you needing to shoot any bullets after the first enemy dies. That's the only downside thorn has, which was why I loved necrotic grip In the start. Would love to use thorn but the nerf It got with necrotic Is just too much, It's way too satisfying to see the poison spread all over the place by itself and kill everything.

I’ve got the Necrotic and Harmony Bond. Think I’m going to use this until I can get one with Star Eaters to drop.

How does star-eaters work with the song of flame, do you get the damage buff the whole time?

What’s crazy is people are just now finding out about this but this was my build final shape day 1 😂 just use necrotic grips. You’re just as powerful and it’s not even worth the added perk! Don’t forget your weapon of sorrow to pair!

Ok so maybe I missed something in the video but I can’t stop thinking about engrams and I’m in a bar so I can’t watch it again right now. Can I ask why specifically you use Thorn? I love thorn, I’m a D1 vet, it’s been in my life for over a decade, but I’m trash at pvp so hardly ever got to use it. The hand cannon says it poisons the target it hits, nothing about spreading it, is there an interaction with the exotic armour perk? Or is the massive add clear from the melees and thorn is just dope and fits the theme? Also is the only way for me to get Necrotics in the final shape from Rahool? And could you please explain the difference between the exotic class item version of the perk and the one that’s on the gloves? Please, thank you, have fun out there. P.S thanks for the build I was getting so sick of crushing grenades.

I've gotten filaments on almost every drop sadly.

Nice build, just need to point out that your moba link is showing the class item as necrotic / swarm, not star eaters.

The poison damage from Spirit of Necrotic is not as potent as Necrotic Grips. If you’re struggling with survivability try swapping a fragment with Facet of Purpose. Great build

Idk I raided with a ton of different ppl, two diff clans, LFG, ran group Overthrows all day, and I ain’t never seen anyone running this until Plunder posted it. Maybe it existed, but it sure wasn’t mainstream. Still tho, can’t hate on folks tryina make a name for themselves.
