OneTigris Featherlite UL Top Quilt
What it is : This is a lightweight, highly compressible 3 season quilt that is also very budget friendly. The company focuses on this being used in a hammock but in truth it works just as well on the ground.

……

Drawstring at the top
My Testing :
I’ve been testing this product out since the spring and have been able to use this in temps down to 38f.
With warm clothing you can use this down 40f or even lower. With that being said, for lower temps a good sleeping pad with an higher r rating will be needed or if in a hammock, a good underquilt will be required.
Talking about clothing, at 40f, you’ll likely want a long sleeve shirt, some thermals, good socks, and hat. If you run cold, you might even want a jacket.
Review Pros :
Very good quality especially for the money - no issue when it comes to the construction
Perfectly Suited for summer time use.
Very warm with temps down to 50F
Insulation does a good job of lofting
Quilt materials are comfortable against the ski, silky.
Weight is very reasonable for an $85 quilt with synthetic insulation
Quilt is compressible - packs up well.
Looks awesome (subjective)
Versatile as you are able to cover up as much as you like or uncover as needed.
Can be used in a hammock or on the ground
Foot box is warm and comfortable.
Review Cons :
The Nylon Stuff sack that comes with this quilt is close to being complete garbage. While the size is good the compression straps and the related hardware is of the poorest quality. The straps themselves come loose and I have given up on using them. The hardware holds tension but as soon as you take the tension off, the straps will come out of the hardware.
If the back closures are in place, this is going to be tight for larger individuals. Luckily for most people since this is a warmer weather quilt won’t have to worry about even fooling with the closures.
Speaking of the closurers, if they are in place, it can be difficult to get into and out of the quilt.
Summary :
For the money, this is a really good warm weather quilt. Works great in a hammock or on the ground, the overall quality is very good.
Make sure to check the measurements to ensure that it is going to work for you.
Storage bag pretty much sucks….but gets the job done.
In the end, I can easily recommend this quilt, for the money it offers a good value and warmth capability.

Was glad to see you reviewed this quilt. I have found myself taking this quilt on a lot of trips this summer because, as you said, it is a perfect summer quilt. Not too warm, easy temp regulation, comfortable, and (for the price) not too heavy. You can definitely get lighter quilts, but you'd be spending double. One Tigris did a great job with this one!
I own one of these too,I've used it when tent camping,in the motorhome/RV & currently using it on my bed in the current heatwave here in the UK..I love mine especially the versatility of it..thanks for another in-depth review 👏🏻
I have had this quilt for roughly two years and have had year round use with it in Central PA. Along with shorts, long sleeve-t and socks, I use this quilt from roughly May through October. November through April I will combine a Snugpak Jungle Blanket along with it. With both combined, I have camped down into the upper teens and have been toasty warm. I am a hammock camper and use this quilt in conjunction with the OneTigris 41 degree underquilt or their 21 degree underquilt. I have found OneTigris to be excellent products for the money. As you mention, the stuffsacks are pieces of s*&t! I do not even use them bur rather just stuff the quilts into my backpack.

Thanks for the tips, it's really cool that a 'cheap' brand has been proving itself to be consistently good quality. Greetings from NEPA.

@@Morongobill you bet! I actually sewed a foot box into the snugpak jungle blanket and use it like a top quilt. In colder temperatures I get in that then slide in the onetigris top quilt.

@@robertcarnesjr3390 Making a foot box on the blanket is a great idea. It only would need to be 1 foot (no pun) deep to work.

Stay strong Lori. I'm 72, and the cost of maintaining a house and ten acres, primarily on social security, just got to be too much financially. I had a chance to sell, and took it. I'm now living in a 35 foot fifth-wheel camper. Some folks might laugh at that, but I sleep at night now.
I'm not been camping in years. I'm wanting to start again. That's why I'm watching your videos. Well and because it like them. Keep up the good work.
All-tho I appreciate gear like this....and each has its place among the outdoorsman I find a Rectangular sleeping bag has the same effect with better benefits over all.......I can unzip it 3/4 of the way and Boom I got a quilt with a foot box.....unzip the bottom and its vented...Need to wrap it around my pad ,a couple sheet suspenders /clip straps work great... zip it all the way up and I got an enclosed bag....... that being said it can all be done for the same money ....with about the same weight........ this is just my humble opinion , But thanks for all you do Luke....... as always your honest and on point !!
I have had this quilt for a few years its been good so far no loose threads, and it actually sleeps warmer than you would think
Watched several videos over the past few weeks, and I really enjoy the content. I just subscribed!!!
Awesome. Thanks for the review! Be safe out there in heat and cold!
Glad to watch this video Luke. I purchased the Onetigris Kompound hammock not long ago. Now, with Fall coming, I am starting to look into an under quilt. Cheers as always dude.
Nice! But for that price I'll stick with my Woobie lol
Thank you Luke, great review and always appreciated.
Unlike everyone eles you actually try the products and i appreciate that,
Thank you brother I was looking at this and debating on buying it ...you r the man we appreciate what you do your awesome
I was thinking of getting one of these to use inside my winter sleeping bag to extend it's range.
Great video Luke. I’ve had this quilt for a couple of years and it’s great. My wife likes it since she’s allergic to down. I have had no problems with the compression sack at all either.
Thumbs up from scotland
Nice review Luke! I've toyed with the idea of buying a quilt and the price is something I can live with. Thanks for putting this together and sharing!
I have had one for a while as a bit heavier woobie replacement. So far it has worked like a champ!
Great review! Thank you for the sharing! Greetings from Quebec City Canada.
I’ve been looking at this top quilt wondering how good it was, thanks for doing this review, I will now be getting one.
Great vid, I’ve been more interested in Onetigris recently. Just got their bulwark tarp. Was hoping to see more videos on their ROC Shield.
I just signed up for you tube , I’ve enjoyed all your videos you & Susie are a special couple , my wife & I lived in overcab camper on concrete blocks for first 6 months. Keep up the good work
Good product information. The comments from users are helpful as well.
Thanks for the review. We are thankful you hate money and like honest reviews😉👍
Been looking for a good quilt, and I think this might be it! I’m always hot, especially when sleeping, so a quilt seems like the way to go. Thanks, Luke!
Great info Luke, thx
Just ordered one for here in the UK, Currently £59 on Amazon which seems decent, Never been happy with tight sleeping bags so i am going to give this a go, Thanks for the review 👍
I have a one tigris sleeping bag, very good price for quality, under £60 for a feather filled bag, 3 season. I team with a jungle blanket for colder times.
Thank you Luke😺👍
I use the down version of this and it is quite good as well. One Tigris products just seem to keep going. I also used their underquilt in my hammock all summer with some nights being just that.
I bought this used but in new condition for 40 dollars Canadian. Definitely keeps me warm. Used down to -10°c ( fully clothed) and was very comfortable. I wish they add about 4 inches of overlap to help in the cooler months. As for the bag ya just about the same problems. So I go slow and us caution and it's fine. Great review sir
Hey mate, I love all your video's and the way you take the video and its content is awesome. I today subscribed to your channel.. Looking forward to see more of it.. Your are doing great continue and love your video's... Cheers mate cheers.
Been watching your channel for a while now and have bought gear for my family based on your reviews. Has not disapointed. After this one I joined as a camper. Our bug out bags are well stocked because of your unbiased opinion and I can say that all the gear you recommended works well.
Thanks Luke. I think I just might pick on of those up.
A win for me, good value and for my climate zone ideal, thanks Luke for your thoughts. 👍
Absolutely love the way you are 💯honest about products
Nice product and really great price. The storage bag is easy to replace wit something that would protect it and have better attachments.
Thanks Luke 👍
Thanks Luke
This channel is such a gem
Interesting product. Was looking for an inexpensive quilt for my son. Thanx
I have used the one tigres underquilt on my hammock and really like it.
What I like seeing is you actually knowing what you're talking about, doing your own research and sharing those sources regarding the materials being used. It's important because I don't think people realise just how much money they are spending not on the material but on the greed of the companies that are taking advantage of peoples ignorance and fear of being judged as being cheap or poor. For example, a 2 season sleeping bag can so easily be made into a 4 season if a duvet is shoved inside, sandwiched inside a bivouac bag. A cheap roll mat just needs a layer of that foil like poncho mat to gain extra reflected insulation. A cheap rucksack just needs some extra pieces of paracord and can stitch on extra pockets/bags.
Thanks for keeping it real. That product would work well for me. I live in NC, near Clemmons/Winston-Salem. We basically neighbors
The "SEE Polyester filling" likely refers to "Sustans by DuPont Sorona," a high-performance polyester insulation. It's designed to mimic the warmth, softness, and compressibility of natural down while retaining its insulating properties when wet. This type of filling is often used in outdoor gear such as quilts and sleeping bags due to its lightweight, quick-drying, and insulating qualities.
Just picked this up - super happy, ideal for UK late spring to early autumn! Thank you so much! I'm on an EXTREMELY low budget (recently homeless, low income) and was pulling my hair out trying to find a suitable sleeping system that was warm enough, not too heavy/bulky, and within my budget. Generally you can have two of those things but not all three! I therefore decided a quilt was the way to go (I also prefer a looser cover than a mummy bag) but in the UK, there just aren't that many quilts available in my budget. I was about to buy a standard quilt and attempt to modify it but this is so much easier and higher quality than anything I could make! Really, really appreciate your unbiased, agenda-free reviews. You really help me navigate the world of budget camping gear. Picked up the Decathlon Forclaz backpack on your recommendation too and I'm delighted with it! All the best and a huge thank you from a very happy Brit 🥰
I ended up going with the east hills outdoor down quilt. Pretty happy so far.
Definitely looks like the kind of thing I've been looking for but £80 isn't cheap so I'll be checkecking out other options before going out and getting one. Ultralight is always more expensive and this is cheap for ultralight though. I'm impressed. Right now I'm just using a fabric poncho cause its so hot
I've been looking for something like this to add to my fall/spring camping and backpacking trips.
I love all of my OneTigris stuff. Underquilt, Topquilt, Tarp, chair, etc. they check off most of the boxes (price, quality,, durability, availability, etc) all except for weight and bulk boxes which unfortunately are pretty important for backpacking. Can’t beat them for car camping though.
Don’t have the quilt but do have a hammok under quilt made by one Tigris and it works great my have to get this also thanks for the honest feedback
Just realized I commented on a year old post of yours, Not sure how far back you check comments. Anyway great info and great information. Thanks
Bought the Paria 700 fill down quilt. Rated to 15F but comments online say down to 30°. It a little narrower than I would like but overall it works. I've used it with an XL Snugpak Jungle Blanket over it in the mid 30's and was very comfortable. But it's definitely more expensive than the OneTigris. By the way took your recommendation and bought the OneTigris high back chair. Love it.
Excellent review as usual! Should compare it to the onewind poncho liner.
DJ Wolf! Synths so smooth in the closing :-)
Luke Your the Best!!!
hmm, it's so huge, I'll keep my compact and warm woolen blanket. Plus I can open the footbox on it xD
Great Review I personally like a Good Quality Wool Blanket
I have had my one tigers quilt for 2 years now and it's always work great for me ! I personally like the stuff sack I've never had a problem with it ! I've used it hammock Camping quite a bit and used it in my tent on my fall deer and elk hunts. Love the quilt !!! Lightweight packable comfortable I would recommend this to anyone !!👍👍
Thanks Luke - We have a 40Kammok down quilt as well as a 45Rumpl Syn quilt. Both were purchased for hammock camping. You are absolutely correct, that pricepoint is probably impossible to beat.

@@jasonmcclung3579 We use it more as a throw or camp blanket. You have to be careful if the quilt isn't geared for hammocks (esp. if you are looking for an under quilt). I would probably go for something by Hammock Gear or UGQ (all things considered including price). You can get pretty specific in regards to options you will need/want.
Luke👍👍Nice review although I'd never use it. Thanks.
Thx Luke
I'm glad that you've reviewed this, I've been on the fence about buying one for months now. Back then it was winter so it didn't make a lot of sense to me, but now in summer I can see it's appeal. Cheers!
Very nice video
To me a quilt opens out flat, that seems more like a hoodless sleeping bag. Packs too big for me to buy it as well.
My underquilt has the same bag. I had to double over the ends another time and sew them so they wouldn't pull through otherwise the underquilt is also good.
I use the UQ version of this with my hammock. My storage bag has been good and holds my hammock & my UQ attached together and hasn't failed in a year with roughly monthly uses. I use my Marmot sleeping bag as a top quilt though, don't see a need for a dedicated top quilt.
Fantastic video. Thank you. I'm going to be doing some camping in North Eastern Arizona. I think this would work quite well. Quick question, what would you recommend as a replacement bag?
Simply replace the stuff sack with a thick plastic bag or large ziplock and use it as a vacuum bag - either with one of those mini rechargeable pumps, or just manually compress and seal. Will take up less space, and you have an extra plastic bag which is always useful!
Please consider adding CM as well when mentioning sizes, getting confused every time
Thank you for being so honest with us. We the veiwers appreciate the time, effort, and money you put into doing the research. Thank you for not pushing stuff on us also. We can feel comfortable watching your content with free wills. Have a awesome day!
Luke, I would love it if you were to do a comparison of this quilt against the Onewind and Swagman. I think I will be going with the Onewind because of features and size option for me (6' 4" with broad shoulders). Would love your take on the 3 together. Stay warm/dry brother!
2.4lbs is Featherlite?
Long time fan Luke. I've always wondered where you get those clear ground sheets. Mind sending me in the right direction???
Agenda FREE is WHAT separates your channel from most other channels. Warm Regards from Reno, Nevada
I was strongly considering this quilt for a backpacking trip to Isle Royale, but ultimately passed on it. After watching the review, I'm glad I did. This quilt would offer me no weight savings over my current summer bag, a Carinthia Eagle. The compression bag failure would have this quilt taking up half of my pack. The insulation is undocumented anywhere on the internet and is suspect. I think I'm just gonna "buy once, cry once" and save up for a UGQ Bandit. Outside of the OneTigris chair, I don't think there's a OneTigris product on the channel that has a glowing review, so I question the brand. Anyways, thanks for the review.

Good decision. I have the UGQ Bandit quilt. It is well worth the price. I suggest getting an extra wide one with side elastics if you plan to use it on the ground in near freezing temperatures.
If I could find it I probably would use it
Just bought one on Amazon at the price you quoted. BUT the compression bag is now "sold separately". (@ $17), So, thanks for the heads-up about the worthless bag. I've got an old Sea and Summit e-vent bag just waiting to get stuffed! Semper Fidelis
No experience with it, but looking for a decent summer bag. Thanks!
I've had really good luck with the sea to summit compression sacks. Sounds like this should probably go into something similar that will actually hold up and do well. Stuff sacks/compression bags wear out with time and use, it's not a place to go super cheap.
Love the begining:these straps suck! Thanx for truths
dope outro music. Keep it going for awhile
Thanks for this review Luke. This may be a dumb question to some, but here goes. What would you consider the general "comfort" level to be, if this quilt was coupled with a 20 degree rated, down sleeping bag? I've been considering buying a 0 degree rated bag, for a little more comfort, but now I'm wondering how the quilt/bag combination would work. The quilt is definitely better priced than the bag I'm considering. Thanks again. Happy trails! Roger Edit: Don't be shy. If that's a dumb idea lay it on me!🤠

Lots of thru hikers and campers 'layer' their sleep systems esp. in colder environs. There are a group of hikers up in the MN/MI/WI area who do a lot of really cold weather camping and a few of them have talked about this...Not to hi-jack Lukes post, but Midwest Backpacker, Miyagi on the Trail and Rob Pelton I believe have all talked about layering quilts and such when you are out in say -30 weather. They do some crazy stuff.
This quilt cannot be described as "featherlite", let alone "light". It's a summer quilt yet heavier than my extra wide 0 degree F (comfort) quilt.
Would love it if they made them in a bigger size. I’m 6’3” 265 and it just fits me. I can make it work but more length and width would be nice for us bigger guys. Otherwise it’s great. Coldest I’ve slept with just the quilt and warm layers on my body was 7°F. As you said add a blanket to this and I’ve been toasty warm sleeping on the teens and twenties.

I feel your pain. I'm 6' 275lbs and finding stuff that I can find in or on is miserable. So apparently you say this fits the height so maybe my gigantic shoulders will fit in here. I've been stuck camping in the summer months due to not finding anything that I can fit in. Any recommendations on pads? Hahaha seems when they say 78" length they mean in mm 🤣
Hi Luke I have been watching your videos for a long time what do you think about the one wind product
Hi Luke, German guy here. We don't have "oz" or "feet" here, it would be nice if you could write this data in liters and cm too like you did with the temperature and weight :) thanks for your reviews!
look good for the price !! look a lot like the onewind company that does underquilt and top quilt for the same range of price and quality ..
Good afternoon Luke thank you for sharing your equipment information and details plus the truth and facts and truth
Hey Luke, how does this compare to the Snugpak Hammock Blanket? Thanks for the great reviews.
Add one of those cheap 2 dollar emergency blankets to this for added heat retention and I would bet you could get the rating down to 30 degrees comfortably with good socks and thermal underwear.
The Helikon-Tex Swagman roll seems like a better choice to me. A little more money, but covers more bases...
Do you have a video on good quality stuff sacks that could be used for this or sleeping bags?
Hey Luke, thank you for sharing your information about this one Tigris featherlite UL Quilt that you can use in the warm months you always have some interesting products that you always come with, I enjoy it very muc
I have a black bag from a military MSS. Cannot find the green bag that doesn’t cost a fortune.I’m thinking this will be a great addition to it, for cold weather. Already have a poncho liner as well. Thoughts?
how does this product stack up against the OneWind blanket quilt? I picked up the OneWind after your review and love it.
Can you check out the 32° onetigris down sleeping bag?
Hey Luke, how would you say this compares to the Snugpak hammock top blanket?
I'm sending mine back. It is really thin. Loft matters!
