This Portable Dual Stacked Monitor Is Great For Digital Nomads
Ғылым және технология
This is the DUOONE, essentially two monitors connected by a clamshell hinge that is as portable as a laptop. Connect to you MacBook or iPad or Windows laptop via USB-C cables or HDMI and get two extra screens anywhere.
This is unfortunately a Kickstarter project, so it's not something you can buy right away, but it is fully backed.

This man never stops. In every new video he is in another place!! Nice.
Your hack is very useful. Unfortunately I'm not yet in the field of digital work that needs 3 screens. But it's really practical for those who travel and always needs 3 screens to work. Great hack 👍
Welcome to Indonesia, Ben! Hope you enjoy your stay here
great review as usual ben! this might be a lifesaver as im a digital nomad too some times
Glad, welcome to Jakarta. Hopefully can bump with you here..
This is definitely useful, i have same setup at hotel, and it came in very handy as its earir to carry on flight..its a uperfect screen same implementation.
Incredibly cool! Welcome to Jakarta!
I think it might have a mode toggle using the bouttons on the bottom right to change it to read both displays as a single monitor, which would make is so you only need 2 cables instead of 3, one for power and one for connection to the host device for both screens, but I might be wrong
Get a laptop stand. Put your laptop on it. Use some vecro straps to attach the laptop the stand. Get a usb C screen and make a loop with zipties. Hang the screen over the via the top screen. Now the second screen will be over the keyboard. Now connect a blutooth mouse and keyboard. Now you have a dual screen laptop setup thats all in one. All in front of you and all fits in a single laptop bag.
I was looking into the Geminos stacked displays but after reading some reviews my thoughts on it was falling a bit short plus its too bulky. But this kickstarter is lightweight, display is better and doennt seem to be reflecting too much or warping when moving a tab to the other screen like it states on the kickstarter website. I hope this hits the market soon, I would love to get one for travel work!
Digital nomad had me laughing good work as always ben 👍
I love your videos
Welcome to JKT!
Thanks for doing these, As a MacBook Pro user, could you explain why it occupies 2 usb-c ports to be able to use it? 3 cables out of the DuoOne in total is a lot
Triple monitor setup👑🐊
hey Ben if I can make a suggestion. when the Vivo X100 Pro or Pro+ comes out, could you compare it to the Xiaomi 13 Ultra? I'm thinking that right now would be a good time to get the 13 Ultra but if Vivo pulls something special then I would consider it instead
I've seen people with 27" iMac's (Intel based) with a second full size monitor working at coffee shops. I've never understood the desire to lug around so much equipment into a coffee shop, even though Ben this is a much more elegant solution, why not just do that work at home or wherever home is at that moment and make your own coffee or buy from a nearby cafe and bring it home? I also am not the type that can do real work in a relatively loud coffee shop so that idea never appealed to me but I like this solution. You're right though, the price tag will put off a lot of people since it's a KS from an unknown company.
welcome to jakarta 😀
Love the idea but having an inbuilt battery and wireless connectivity option plus an inbox stand would have made this a truly finished marketable product.

Yeah I wish it had a battery but I guess would add another 1.5-2 pounds to it

It has a add-on GaN3 power bank 2-in-1 adapter available.
Can tell why there is a market for the Yoga 9i and the Zenbook Duo
I'd go for glasses. Especially on the go.
What is the tablet stand that you are using ?
Hi Sir Ben. I would like to know regarding that dual monitor it's that a touchscreen or stylus support for my digital creation.?
What resolution and hz are you getting when both screens plugged into the MacBook ?
Nice love going beautiful places
Does the USB-C used for Display also powers the monitor?
hmm a kickstarter ....I think I saw something like this sold somewhere
I'm actually thinking of using these standalone with a mini PC stick and an a keyboard. Does any have any experience or ideas it may not work?

it works as long as your PC can output to monitor and can connect Bluetooth keyboard. all the computing has to be done on the stick
The Kickstarter page says the dual 2.5k screen is 144hz. The dual 4k screen is only 60hz.

Sorry you're right I made a mistake
Having a stacked dual screen monitor at $700 is better than 2 portable monitor is.... ? I'll stick with my 16" 4K OLED touchscreen monitor with built in battery and KICKSTAND. Use my tablet on the other side as my 3rd screen.
bro how did you get it? sponsored?
Hi! I checked the link you gave! Will I be charged in HK$ as it's the currency on display? Regards!

I think you can select the currency in your region or your credit card
Why can't the Mac power it with usb c?
there should be foldable monitor now, that's the only way to make them really portable
@tibora13

There is a foldable monitor but that thing is way too bulky
it's 3.3 pt it's heavier than 2 portable monitor
Can you recommend any other app. Equivalent to KZread pls ??????

KZread revanced ? Pipetube ?
lightweight? the 16 inch is 1.5 kg (3.30 lbs), the 17 inch is 1.62 kg (3.58 lbs) and all youre getting is a dual monitor, not even a stand. For someone traveling weight is important too and this weighs more than your usual laptop.
Wow jakarta
indonesian yg lagi nyimak,,,
That annoying shopee ads in the bottom right corner. HAHAHAHA

Lollll
I think just buy Lenovo Yoga 9i dual screen is enough. You don't really need 3 screen. 2 screen is enough.

It costs too much.. ehomewei, uperfect and lepow are more affordable.
A solution searching for a problem. Nobody realistically would sit at a coffee shop with all that gear laid out, and while at your home desk you can simply plug in a standard 4K external desktop.

How about frequent travelers like me who works at hotel or airbnbs often? And I have definitely seen people with bulkier setups at coffee shops
