Geezzzz...... it amazes me how crystal clear that water is. The water is so clear that the pond looks empty.

A swimming pond like that in the courtyard is my dream house!!! Seeing the water from every room!🤗😍😍

I started thinking I need an in ground pool on my 1/2 acre lot, here in Kansas, so I started looking around KZread to see what other people are doing. I ran across Greg Wittstock, The Pond Guy and knew right off, this is what I want in my yard, Koi fish and all!

I think it’s stunning, but if I could do one, I would omit all the boulders in the swimming area. I would leave a wide open swim corridor so I wouldn’t have to worry about bumping into rocks while trying to swim , jump, or splash around. But everything else is perfect!

I can't believe this is in NE! Looks like the PNW!! What a great job Ed did. It's beautiful!!!

Thank you to the men in society that provide things like this for people and work so very hard!! If it weren't for hardworking men willing to get dirty, sweaty, hot, and do all the jobs no one wants to do to provide us with the infrastructure everyone wants, we wouldn't have most of what we have!

OMG!! I just started looking at KZread videos about recreational ponds, and this is figuratively in my back yard! I live in Omaha. This pond is gorgeous!! 😍 I’ve just started to dream about something like this. I’d add a slide and maybe koi or native fish like bluegills and minnows. And I love all the frogs! God loves frogs! 😍🐸 Sooo beautiful!!! 💝

Laura from Garden Answer brought me here. I've watched several of your videos since you installed Laura an Aaron's pond. It was so amazing to watch then the finish, I was in awe of everything. This one also is just amazing. Your customers all have nothing but positive things to say. That means it all to a company.

Like I've been saying, it is hard to make up one's mind. Each pond is unique in it own way. It is so nice from waning to swimming. That is so gorgeous to be able to come home from working all day and dip to cool off one's feet and relax into nature. Heaven sent.

I remember this build and it has filled in so beautifully. This is such a great rec pond and I love that tree house. What a phenomenal job Ed did on this. God bless

That is an amazing pond Greg. So wicked that it's a pool too and the best is that there no chemicals and comes with a waterfall to sit under. They should get some fish that eat the algae. A 10/10 for this fabulous waterfall/pond/pool. 👌

This is our yard dream. We have an extra acre that we could put something fun on with picnic spots and a walking/biking path

Looks very nice. I have seen a pond liner longevity comparison. Some brands of pond liners last for a reasonable amount of time. Time does go by fast, so what happens when the pond liner is at the failure phase of its life cycle? Does the homeowner have a contractor rip everything out and start over?

Beautiful!! I can’t tell you how much I have google the type of filters you incorporate into your ponds coming up empty handed. I knew it was out there. This is exactly what I have been looking for. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to build a recreation pond especially of this caliber!! Yet I want to know everything about them, how they work!! I am so curious. I know if I ever to get a swim area I want the recreational pond!!! I want more info!!

Man I love your videos. We bought a house two years ago with a 40-year-old pond in the backyard that has never been taken care of. Now it's surrounded by trees, so you can imagine the mess. I wish you could see it and give me pointers.

I am planning to build one of these wonders in my new house. What do you do with fallen leaves or generally decaying organic mater at the bottom of the pond? Surely when you go swimming in, it stirs a lot of things up and muddies the water....A local constructor here tells me i need a 6000euro cleaning pump to enjoy a good swim. Thougths?

Greg I finally have my aquascape pond it’s small but my backyard isn’t huge I have put in a Bali hut now my pond now waiting for plants to grow. Little dog shihtzu x Maltese fell in the other day got such a fright one year old puppy. My son I law said how can you swim in that pond and be healthy his pool he has to make sure is healthy with chlorine can’t make him understand sadly

Maybe have him wander around your pond and look at it and smell it: does he smell any foul odors? See any algae bloom? No? Maybe invite him to bring a water test kit to test for bacteria in it?

Greg quick question.. wouldn't you use ultraviolet lights to kill algae?

What happens during the winter with freezing temperatures…do you have to turn the pumps off?

Okay you asked for it. My question is, my land is high plains desert. With 2 inches of snow/ rain fall per year. How do you keep blowing sand from “F”ing up the water feature?

We don’t have copperheads in Omaha. We’re too far north. 👍 The worst thing I can think of is that a wandering snapping turtle would find this pool, but it would have to migrate from some other river or lake close by.
