    How do we install it tho? i tried following what was written on github but I'm stuck I first installed rust, then downloaded the osx zip and run the command that i found on the page, problem is i get " error: no such command: `xtask` " Googling around and watching the full repository I found that probably I'm missing some script from another part of his library(? i don't know what to call it, I never use github) but I don't know where to find it or how to install it, cause idk how to use terminal besides copy-pasting other ppl lines Any help? (I'd love to try out the other plugins as well so a complete "guide" would be sick) Edit: After we install them, are they just gonna show like normal vsts? Do i need to take additional steps?

    Great to hear you like the plugin! This was one of those "what if..." kinda things that just randomly popped into my head a couple years ago. I should really go back and turn this version (which is meant to be a bit more of a testbed for messing around with ideas) into a proper, easier to use plugin.

    I actually found this one a while back while I was searching for a Soothe alternative. I knew you could do the chordal filter effect but I just couldn't figure out how to make it sound clean. Very glad you found this as well, and found so many more uses for it that I hadn't even considered. I think the ONLY thing that could improve it is a more freeform threshold shaper, but it's really an insane plugin already that I shouldn't be complaining.

  • @Kallyn

    @Kallyn

    2 ай бұрын

    @@au5music just realized if you use the sound as both the input and sc signal, put an eq before the sc signal and use the sidechain compression setting then you can use that eq to get a bit more control over the threshold like Soothe has. Maybe a little cleaner than pre and post eq. Don't think there's any way to cheat the spectral smoothing, though.
