Thx for showing the helicopter technique, i had a big struggle with planes like Gepard's and M247's. Now i know how to deal with them.

In the case of the A10 maybe he cant do this because gjn forgot to implement the redundant control system for the elevators. If you loose one of them you hug the ground. When I play A10 on this map the first ground kills are the gepards. Funnily enough they dont aim at you by attacking them and they need less ammo than the aluminum boxes (M113)

The two effective counters to them which i enjoy playing often would be the F-5E and either of the F-8 crusaders. Performance wise the Kfir Canard is really great against them too but most people who fly them have little to no brain activity.

The Mig21MF was the best stock grind I ever had. Took me some matchs to learn the plane but then I had a ton of fun with it.

​@@wt.kittentrue the mig-21mf is a really great plane, i tend to do REALLY well in it, but the best thing to fight it is the F-5E and F-8E. The migger is overall the better performing plane in general, but in a dogfight the 5E and 8E/U have the edge because of actually having energy retention.

you make using this gun look easy with how outstanding your aim is

it's generally easy with a delta wing, the problem is that it's very slow and will be easily dodged from further from 500m.

most of those gun kills were just good positioning on his end so hes basically shooting at stalled out targets and those arent very hard to hit

It looks better than the SMT and is therefore better trust. It's like racing stripes making a car race better :)

the fish is very tired. he is eepy. the fish has had a very long day of splashing bandits and wants to take just a small sleep. he eeby and neebies to sleebie. fish sleepy and need bed by time.

My favorite fish bed. I have 1000 battles with it in WT. It’s my most played vehicle in the whole game.

I really loved this plane and used it a lot to grind out the German Fulcrum. One of the biggest problems I had was getting swarmed by both F-5Cs and F-8Es. I find it enjoyable though hard to play. Also I couldn't figure out a way to counter either F-5C or F-8E in a dogfight, which was kind of annoying.

F-5Cs turn into lead zeppelins below 800kph. If you can get them slow in an energy fight; they're dead.

Make sure you go vertical and not horizontal in an energy fight, F5 has insane energy retention ~mach .9 If you get an F5 below 600 its gonna take forever for him to go back up to speed Also Mig21 top speed is higher than F5 so you can just run away F5 turnrate is not very good when at high speeds but its surprisingly very maneuverable ~750kmh so watch out for that when engaging in turn fights

​@@cryptor0012to add: mist F5C pilots are fairly brain dead but still hard to kill as they do move in herds. I found setting up for reversals, when they start off behind me, or cutting into their first turn to be the most reliable way to kill them, if you are confident in aiming the gun

I just hate you were unable to record the end of the helicopter technique. I'm glad you are very truthful with what happens off screen all the time. Real rough having to always tell us what happened afterwards since recording software just has to conveniently stop working at these very select moments. It's always a good laugh haha

This was one of my most favorite planes around a year or two ago. I got it when the Mirage III got released with the fat SARH missile. I was eating those Mirages for breakfast with only cannons.

I recently unlocked this plane and love it. Im kinda surprised you didnt turn your radar off and only used the lock on mode. R3r's are also amazing at kills a10s. I mainly go past the enemy team, try headons w the 2 r3r's (focussing on a10s so i dont get missles spammed my way in a df, and then just go into the furball with the 2 r 60s

Watching defyn fly planes I’ll never unlock is my morning coffee.

I like the part where you turned into the Helichoppa and went back to base without a scratch. On a side note it's unfortunate such clips get corrupted

snail gave me a talisman on this thing so i used it to grind most of teir 7. really enjoyed it, especially compared to the 21bis that follows which kinda suffers fighting fox 1s

I would love to see a Mig-17 video. I believe you've never covered it.

Hahahah that ironic and also iconic quote from the trailer was on point here, I know that in game you are not worried about your life and couple other factors so the games like WT allow you to kind of unrealistically overcommit sometimes, still love IT tho

Frame limited is being airspeed capped because your wings get ripped off due to airspeed Engine limited is when your plane cant go faster because the plane doesnt have the power to keep accelerating

I enjoy fighting against other MiG-21 at similar BR of F-8E. Sketchy BVR on R-3R versus AIM-9C ahahah

I researched it years ago but never used it (or any MiG-21, or majority of high tier jets in general). I really like R-3Rs from videos I've seen but I'm not sure if this plane is usable when stock. I'll probably wait and buy MiG-21S on next sales.

Mig 21 is far better for air realistic

Yeah the Gepards are very annoying to deal with. Good roll rate and AOA, they are basically on par with a Zero when it comes to turning, and extremely potent at high altitude with that top speed and climb rate.

is it just me or have vertical stabilizers become way easier to shoot off.

Defyn can you play the Mig 21bis (finish fishbed) (Finland is not real its just a japanese fishing operation) I know you played it a while ago but it was before 12.0 existed

How to fight f-5c/e omn this thing? It is merely impossible, if you merge even on same speed mig will lose 99% of the time. Is there a way to deal with them? Even if I manage to do something I will be 3rd partied to that moment. SMT is so better because of engine, this thing can't run away, can't turn fight, terrible. Pls help)

If you're seeing planes lower than 9.7 it's because they are squadded up and uptiering themselves

Missiles are not insta kill weapons irl. A lot of planes have survived hits or near hits.

Defyn, would you be able to play the J-7E at 11.0? As it’s in a spot where it faces constant uptiers and you only have 4 IR missiles. (There is moments where the aircraft is good, I’ve personally had a few somewhat high kills games)

i'd say, worth to try to take s24 rocket instead of r3r if you're going to not climbing and play low altitude, you can set it on 1km fuze and do a headon with it (which also f5c/e players you're going against, would love to do headon, so why not). though, it's just my thoughts for a gameplay to spice it up a little bit, otherwise, 1 r3r is okay
