This place has the coolest modified JDM Suzuki Jimnys!

I visited this awesome Jimny shop in the south of Osaka.
The aftermarket Jimny scene is huge in Japan and it's always cool to see such a variety of modifications available. With the current 3 door car, and rumoured 5 door on the way this will no doubt only grow and grow! Here I show some modifications from DAMD, all the way from a retro 60's style car, right through to a modern Mercedes G Wagen style replica!

I like that cream one because you can keep the yellow plate which is why I'm interested in a Jimny

Loved the look of the grayish Jimny with the white steel wheel rims.

Greetings from Florence, Italy I own a 2001 Suzuki Jimny 4x4 with the m13a 1.3L petrol engine. All original for use on dirt country roads. I also use it on farm roads and mountain roads and even on completely snowy country roads! For me the Suzuki Jimny is an excellent off-road vehicle, better than the Nissan due to its smaller off-road size . Limited off-road mastodons compared to the Suzuki Jimny 4x4, the Patrol 4x4s does better off-road than larger off-road vehicles such as the Land Rover Defender 4x4 due to its small and compact size!!! !

Cool, will be getting the 5 door Jimny as the one and only car in family for longtime, but searching for inspiration to mod it.

Great video, thanks. I had an early Samurai with the removable hard top.. Loved it. Made a tonneau cover for it when the hard top was removed, it snapped in place from the roof down behind the front seats and back to the rear tail gate, made it look like a mini pick-up truck. Off road it lots. New ones look great, like to buy one.

Thanks for the message. Appreciate it! New and old Jimny’s will all be future classics I reckon, so much character in such a small car!

Nice video thanks for this. Greta to see what they’re doing in a Japan. I live in Seychelles and we have started importing them here now. Are you able to tell me how much they’re selling for there in Japan? Both the stock version and the modified ones (obviously they vary but the average I guess). We only get the 1500cc version but I would love to get the 660cc turbo version just because it uses about the half the fuel (which is expensive here) and from what I see it’s more zippy on the road. Grateful for your feedback.

Thanks for the message! If you check a listing site such as carsensor.net you’ll get an idea of what prices are like here in Japan! I have only ever driven my old 1500, so I can’t compare to the 660 unfortunately but I imagine they’re also great!

Nice Video, I would have liked to have seen the prices of these Jimny's ? I was wondering if there was a market to export these custom styled to the UK ?
