You know, if you put that phone in dry ice so it cools off in a more steady rate instead of plumitting down in temperatures you might be able to keep the phone working for as long as it remains inside the liquid nitrogen as once you take it out the moisture will condense and ruin the phone by filling it in water

Water prob can't get in because it's water resistant but the seals could have cracked from the temp change.

Try it with usb c warp charge 65t, you'll see much better results in terms of charging speed
