yeah its based on the player not the lobby...if im playing with PC people ill still get aim assist because im still playing on controller on console...im already at a disadvantage playing console controller vs PC players...removing aim assist just because im playing with PC would be weird

As a console player, you still get aim assist when queued with PC, you're just playing with PC players. Also the only time a PC player will play against a console player in Quick Play is if the console player is queued with a PC player in that match. Console players can enter the PC queue this way but a PC player cannot enter the console queue

Console players in fact do get aim assist in QP even while playing with PC. They turned that on a while back and said they would revisit if it became too much of a problem. When I play QP "SOLO" I get games with console players frequently. It typically does seem to try to match the same number of cross play players. I mistake this for hacks frequently after watching a kill cam, and press P to see the cross play icon. It's a bit of a burn seeing that, I can't aim better than console with aim assist lol. It seems really noticeable on hit scan and looks really weird on Hanzo.

As a console player, our aim assist is nothing like this. Idk what you're seeing, but any PC player should be aiming better than a system that is actively fighting against the player.

Skill issue, ow aim assist is laughable in terms of strength, and it screws you over if you’re playing a projectile character. Look at apex if you want to see an example of actual unfair aim assist

You can buy cheats but you can't buy a brain lmao i hope all the cheaters feel good about themselves knowing not even a program can help them.

It's aiming where it's aiming because it's been configured to aim there. Lots of cheaters do this to make it less sus lately, but you can clearly see the sudden micro flicks towards the enemy players and hard locks, tracking ahead of them, trying to predict their movement. It's a projectile aimbot, no matter what some braindead folks in chat say. Yes, console players still have aim assist when playing with PC players. It's tied to console, not PC. PC players don't get aim assist with a controller, and this is why a lot of console players use Xim Matrix for Overwatch 2. They also have aim assist in comp but that doesn't matter because in comp, there's only console vs console players, not console vs PC players.

Pretty sure the only time aim assist isn't a thing is in competitive on PC. This vod obviously goes way above just aim assist though

Jay3 out here straight up spreading misinformation again. You get aim assist on console in pc lobbies now. They changed that a few seasons ago, since it was unfair for the console players. After all there is no comp crossplay so who cares if they get a lil something to help them play. Pc already has a big advantage in aiming and in general.

As a Sombra player, I get this all the time. I call it out, get told, "git gud." rage.

You do get the aim assist now. It was patched in a few months a ago.

With the way they always look at the pelvis I feel like their program probably has that as an option. I have a modding tool for a game that comes with an aimbot and it lets you choose between head and pelvis.

Agreed sadly. I haven't found a reliable qp lobby leaning heroes. Supports don't heal me but will heal the tank and other dps when I'm the one taking more damage than the tank and dps combined (which leads me to being blamed). As a support, I get the Spongebob fish gif that looked in both directions cause everyone lets me die sadly and I get blamed again lol@@shinoiaki
