EVG Animated Traversal is compatible with anniversary edition (except the latest version I think, because of the lack of DAR) and my mod + requirements should also be compatible with AE. If you have any issues with it please let me know (on the mod page) :)

since the dawn of gaming homebrew continues to carry the weight. The first game ever was a homebrew invention(console of sorts) to allow interactivity in a vacuum tube it was electrical but still physical in nature, the first true game was homebrew for a heart monitor. Mods are the descendants to homebrew. They have changed form but continue to carry the duty.

Considering it's your first time on PC, how are you progressing in your modding journey? I've been modding my game since the game was released and gave up on doing it manually because the amount of work needed for a heavily modded game became overwhelming. I'm now almost exclusively using Wabbajack and a few tweaks and additions here and there.
I think Skyrim will be forever known as the training grounds for a new generation of developers.

There are so many mods that I didn't think were possible. I remember certain times in Skyrim's life cycle where I felt the mods couldn't get any better like what could they add more to improve, but in the past 1-2 years, there were so many more incredible mods being made.

Thats ok. It probly never will. I think Bethesda like all the other insatiably greedy game makers is trying to steer players away from games you buy once and have full access to, in favor of online games and micro transactions. If you look at the elder scrolls main releases: Morrowind 2002, Oblivion 2006, Skyrim 2011, you can see they were pretty consistent in releases. But now it has been 11 years since skyrim first came out, and nothing but additions for skyrim and ESO since. And if you look at whats been released in the past few years it is ALL ESO. l)J

As an avid Shadow of Mordor/Shadow of War player, the roof mod is so reminiscent of the way Talion navigates orc fortresses and I love it. Definitely a mod I'd consider getting.

Nice video man. I can see that you've put a lot of effort and time into it. Good gameplay, commentary is relevant, and the editing is great! Keep it up. Subbed
I have tried Deadly Shadows in the past and enjoyed it. I have also tried EVGAT just after it first came out when it had been implemented into just a few places and thought it was a mod that had a HUGE potential. Now it sounds like that potential is starting to manifest. I have a love for sneaky thieves and adventurers, and it looks like it's time to re-visit EVGAT again! I'm still waiting for someone to create a mod where your secret thief identity will start to be known in the form of wanted posters placed in cities you have pulled capers in, and as you venture around Skyrim you will start to hear people talking about the mysterious thief who "just confounded the guards in a certain city and who cannot be caught". That would be awesome!

ive heard this mod in several videos but this is the 1st im hearding of roof scaling and corner peaking involved! the mod was just certain dungeons letting you crawl under or hop over walls in dungeons. to hear them going large scale in the open world is awsome!
I gotta say, your rogue character looks so sick with the thieves guild armor mashup and the mask and glowing eyes!
Video is really well done! Awsome Job and interesting information. If you ever have the chance, you could upgrade your voice recording. Your content is top notch and deserves good Audio imo.
What armor mod were you using in this video? Also, I'm loving the content! Super sleek editing and straight forward explanations. Kudos, my dude!
This game just never stops getting better. Great video! Loved it!
this will really make a stealth assassin playstyle so much better and more epic i love playing a stealthy thief like char but get so pissed when im limited to only one path and it means that alot of the time your style of play goes out the window due to some random npc spotting you trying to get into an ambush spot
apparently i have been not only using an older version of Deadly Shadows but also lacking the DS Solitude file. that explains why solitude seemed incomplete with Deadly Shadows. thank you for showing me these mods which lead to me finding out this mistake
A mod video that puts all the info and more in the description, amazing, you got a sub out of me
Wow that's seriously amazing. Do you have any mod recs for assassins/thieves that takes advantage of deadly shadows? As it is Skyrim does t have much encouragement to commit crimes in cities
This is like adding in Fable/Assassins creed elements to Skyrim & I love it so so much dude 😭😭
Absolutely stunning presentation and editing
This would be great with an added acrobatics tree. The more you use these special ways of traversing Skyrim, the more options are opened. It would make the acrobatics class that used to exist, feel real. Personally, I would then also love for your possibilities to be limited by your armor. Great mods to shine a light on as usual
I have never been much for making a thief or assassin in skyrim.... but this? This is goood
Think about Bethesda having a hard time keeping up with all these incredible mods while making the next part. How are they ever gonna release something competitive to the modding community?

00:36 This! I've been thinking this from the first time I encountered those wide Dwemer bars in some dungeons. Its not that wide, just walk through them.
11 years and Skyrim will slowly be more than a walking simulator :) awesome mod extension!
It's amazing how skyrim commu its is going so strong after so much time
The only thing I feel different in these mods and other games with such movements is that the animations need a bit more speed, so it feels the character is fighting against the gravity as well, also not to get bored watching the same animation, could make them an opponent of the other games with such traversal
Very nice. Worth building a new installation. :)
I really miss the Thief series games and these mods seem to add a lot of that into Skyrim, THANK YOU! All these mods will work together right? I think that's what I heard you say Any particular mod order to follow?
My only problems with this framework has been the fixed camera angle forcing you out of first person/where you are looking in 3rd person and the rather stiff animations. It definitely has great potential though!
Truly amazing Thank you for showing this to us.

What a well-made video! :) Thank you very much for covering my mod in this awesome showcase! EVG Animated Traversal is such an amazing framework in the sense that it is both easy to use, as you stated in your video, and it's game-changing with what mod authors can do. I use all of the mods covered in this video, and I have to say that the way I play Skyrim has changed ever since introducing all of them to my game. :)
Imagine if there were invironmental hazards that would have a different chance to do a small amount of damage to you or accidentaly make a sound and the odds would be based on skill progression so if there were two animations for the same egress different builds might have a mechanical reason to chose a different animation.
Finally, I can traverse like a normal human being! Also, what armor are you wearing at 08:07? Looks dope.
Can I just say, your voice is very calming. :)

Id love to be playing but waiting on DAR and FEC to update still lol
Recently, in one of the interviews about Starfield, Todd Howard admitted that integrating ladders into their games was still a problem for BGS due to limitations in the Creation Engine. Keep in mind this is the Creation 2 engine that he's actually talking about. Yet, in 2023, amateur modders, many without any real game development experience, are still implementing mechanics into Skyrim that the devs thought to be impossible. I love the human spirit.
This sounds very promising. Also a mod that would change Skyrim forever is Skyrim Together. Now that would definitely change things up so much.
my sword and shield character could certainly use some more ladders to climb on top of buildings for when the dragons land there.
Cool. Thanks for sharing.
All these mods look so cool! I was wondering do you ever plan to make a video of your mod list? I'm new to the modding community but your game looks amazing and I can't find many videos with this level of beauty in game. But anyways great video 100% subbing and looking forward for more great content! 🤍🤍

I totally agree
Looks great, although I wonder if it's compatible with Skyrim VR. The animations would either not play, or would look kind of like your first-person VRIK body getting up from being ragdolled. (If you haven't played it, your hand and head positions are defined by the VR equipment in real-space, so your body is all twisted and distorted until you finish standing up and your avatar realigns with your body.) But VR players could benefit from the added navigation options, squeezing between bars, etc.
A mod that finally allows you to be that one kid in highschool who could never use the stairs normally
Do all these mods work fine with nolvus Ascension v5 modpack without any problems??
Interesting and going to try after some hours
Literally the perfect mods, if you want to be the ultimate stealth character.
That thieves guild armor with a coin pouch and potion on the belt… what mod(s) that from?
the way the character moves reminds me a lot of gothic
So Skyrim gives you the feels of AC/Uncharted movement slightly now? Atop the Valhalla/Sekiro combat style? And so much more.... Damn.
You can probably could make a full new assassin creed game with this mod
What helmet are you wearing in your outro?
What is the name of the armor at the end?
I think that now is time to begin a new Khajiit character lol
I got here by asking google asistant to play a random skyrim video, by far this is the best thing that could've happen to me. Pretty cool mods
Isn’t there some way to combine all these awesome mods easily? I’ve tried tinkering with the vortex manager and all that stuff but I can’t get these cool mods to work well
Everytime i think my xbox load order is looking sweet i see some shit like this on pc and shed a tear
Absolutely mindblowing.
its dope i'll prob never use thoe cuz i think its nemesis and i really dont wanna learn an entire new animation mod again- so yeet into the forever box i guess-
what mod is the armor with the chainmail?
We need Gopher to restart Leonard with this mod.
I would gladly make use of these additions but I'm afraid that as more and more patches for various locations appear they will start to conflict with each other. My playthroughs are usually long (0,5-1 year or longer) so it requires carefully choosing mods to include not to have a problem with compatibility in a future.
This mod added a little more sense to gameplay enabling use of environment in much better way
Yoooooooooooooooo! They added ladderssss!!!!
Hey what the armor mod being used st the end of the video?
Finna ditch my level 87 character I've built for the past week to start a new one centered around this feature
After overdosing parkour in Dying Light 2 I got to test these traversal mods
Basically OSRSs agility-skill. Nice
What armor mod is used in the thumbnail?
as if theres not enough reasons to do another stealth build, we are gifted this mod.
What are those movement animation mods?
This game is finally complete for me! Going back to reinstall.
