This is the classic "show not tell" thing that you see in creative writing classes - interesting to see it applied to songwriting, makes a lot of sense.

" Project someone into the movie inside your mind " Yep, for me, that is what great songwriting is all about. The artist REN is exceptional at this. I also feel that, whilst all you say about the " most important " elements is absolutely spot on, every one of these elements must be totally natural and never forced, or the end result can sound somewhat pretentious and contrived. Honesty in our writing is, to me, THE most important thing of all. Thanks again for your excellent work at stripping back the layers to provide a wonderful understanding of the mechanics of great songwriting. You do a fabulous job. ( has anyone ever told you, Benny, you are like a young, handsome version of Gareth Southgate ? 😎 ) 🙏

I have just had a click moment with how my didgeridoo songs breath! I am a story teller, as the story is what I feel. I am torn between the beautiful expression of the earthly vibrations that echo from the Didgeridoo and the poetic warming words that walk through the sensation of the mind. The elements of song writing are like the elements of the earth, you can’t have one without the other.
