At 28:00 it would have been amazing to see a hard cast shark typhoon stick. That would have completely outpaced a field of the dead :D

@@vex_dk The 1 of hasn't bothered me and it's pulled me out of death when it's slipped through. I really don't mind it. Incidentally puts all previous saga's in play if you run all 4 or more than 2.

I'm pretty sure you play plague engineer on insect or dryad against elves about 80% of the time. Not sure how often that's right, but it's amusing nonetheless.

That last game against Goblins was the most satisfying draws I've ever seen

Round 1 game 2, I was really hoping you'd get to Wasteland your Hall of Heliod to untap it out from under Back to Basics with Crucible, but that Field of the Dead was too important

I LOVE this deck, although I still like jeskai over esper just cuz pyroblast is such a problem solver, ToT is definitely the answer for a lot of things, I always end up using it in control/combo matchups! Great Job Brian keep it up!

One trick you can do at 1:02:40 is to hold priority and untap your foundary before the thopter comes into play. Here the only difference is +3 life but it can be more relevant vs say, bolt.

Narfi is a technically black threat that you didn't mention. Discarding to hand size isn't great but if you were considering that for bloodghast, {s}{s}{s} isn't *too* bad for a (tapped) flash 4/3.

Plague engineer being a threat, having deathtouch, and being one-sided all put it way above the enchantment synergies. Just a WAY better card.

it makes me sad that there's no room for thoughtseize. It makes sense but I love that card.

I have always wanted ominous seas in a deck like this but I honestly dont know where I would put it in this list as it feels tight. I think urzas saga just does that job faster maybe?

I was impressed by didgeridoo, and I’m brewing a different sneak and show deck using maskwood nexus and didgeridoo, which may just suck but might also just be insane

For someone so good and knowledgeable Mr Bosh loves to play a lil loose sometimes lol I know it's from talking aloud the whole time about lines and stuff. Great content though!

"We Didgeri- did it!" is a saying exclusively for victorious Minotaur Deck pilots. This is a crime. I will be reporting you to the authorities.

Do you think this deck would work on a budget, swapping in shocklands for the three duals and Stony Silence for the Null Rod? The low dual count makes me curious if the life loss would add up too much in an average game

It will hurt you vs delver, 8-walla, and decks like that but you won’t notice in control matchups. Plus there’s plenty of opportunities to fetch in the end step.

You can also swap them for basics and play 4x prismatic vista, which opens the path to have mainboard B2B

During the field game is it ever right to hard cast shark typhoon? There was a few times where I think you could have played it with force back up. I was just wondering. Also, holy shit that mull to 4 game. Insane. I can count my wins from mills to 4 on both hands... like wow... insane...

It’s sometimes correct to cast typhoon, I didn’t see a good spot in that match. It happens much less than one might think.

Maybe? I chose the Monk right before they restricted Mentor and Vintage and banned Top in Legacy. Monks were hotter than the sun at the time.

Plan for the worst case scenario when you’re building a deck, not the best. There’s no good way to get spirit in the bin and there’s plenty to do under standstill already. You never want to spend BB1 on Spirit.

The really grindy match against the baby opponent at like 1:00:00, the opponent could have won that pretty easily by just rushing have alt and playing protect the king no? They got Brian so low on reasources it was very unlikely he could kill it and it was only like a 3 turn clock
