Didn't even need to watch because the big red arrow in the thumbnail pointing to absolutely nothing gave it away! Thanks guys!
Great job, Bubby! After all this time, I’m still amazed at how effortless you make it look. 👑
And Bubby doesn't even hold sticks with a pinch way. Crazy skill.
@BubbyFPV Never would have imagined seeing you filming a solo RR episode here. Full circle journey right there. So awesome :)

I know right!? He's come a long way from his first Trippy Spin tutorial that first got Drew's attention back in November 2019! Seems like a lifetime ago, but it's really only been 3 years. I love this video... it was just him and Christian at his local backyard spot in California, killing it with a great tutorial. Very proud FPV Mama ❤

Yeah I'm just starting and loved this.
Really clearly explained and demonstrated.
The way you just hover perfectly in front of the gaps you were showing us is a hard enough trick. Thanks for the tips, it is really great to understand some of the tricks that can help us become more competent as pilots! I really appreciate your insights.
You know that you're gonna learn some mind bending trick if bubby's in the intro!

Excellent tutorial! Thanks Bubs!
Nicely synched commentary and video. 👍
I always appreciate your tips Bubby!
Dude! just how smooth and steady you are able to point to all the spots with your quad, already has me impressed lol... let alone the trick :D
Powerlooping and flying close to the ground helped me a lot.
Great video man. This is why we subscribe to Rotor Riot. ❤
not just tight gaps but making tricks your viewers never seen before but thanks for the tip/trick keep it up
my power loops are sponsored by NASA (yes i def need to improve at this!)
Awesome video! You're so comfortable in the air, and you really show off the technique in a way that's easy to follow!
that helped a lot Bubby, im gonna try that my next session.
Ok ill practice my power loop gaps at the field tommorow thanks bubby
Great vid! looking forward to see more of these ;) perfect flying and precision.
This is amazing, I am always impressed how you can easily break down tricks and flying so its easy to understand the process. Keep up the tutorials and I love how you make this look so effortless.
Man I don't know why, but that video rang true with me. I will be practicing that for now on! Thanks
More of these Please...
Thanks Bubby
Super clear tutorial!
Thank you Bubby for this video, it's a very interesting format and I hope there will be more.
Thanks for this Bubby. My power loops are still the to the moon variety so this helps a considerable amount with learning how to refine that.

@@weekenddroners haha, it's still fun as hell, and I don't see myself not doing it in the future, however I also want to be able to nail the proximity loops as well =D
Awesome, thank you for sharing.
Outstanding tutorial! THANKS
Simple explanation thank u sir.
Nice tutorial Bub!
Good tips, Bubby, thanks!
Ha ha. Funny you should pick this maneuver because I’ve been working on this based on your technique for rolling or looping small gaps in and around trees for a couple of weeks now. Great tips for better throttle management. Thanks Bubby
I still work on this, every time I fly. Definitely a trick worth perfecting. :)
Just what I need. Thanks 🎉
This is good to know I find this video extremely useful. I think once I finish this next build this is going to be what I start practicing. I really appreciate you posting this thank you
Wish I had this stuff when I was a kid! Definatly learn alot from you guys. Thanks
As a camera drone flyer (soon new FPV flyer), your tree setting is my nightmare lol great flying!
thanks, Bubby
For me it was the juicy flick. You won't crash as often as trying the power loop. It helped me alot.
wow that control when demonstrating which trees and gaps to hit using the drone itself is godly skills i don't think i can do that anytime soon wow wow
Greattt skills Bubby 🫶
Great video!
Nice Bubby .💪🏻
Trying to master powerloops, I find the little throttle blip really helps 👍
TY Bubby
Don't have this much skill but I'm always willing to give it a repair/go.👍
Awesome vid Bub. Love your style. You're a real asset to the RR team!

awesome tip!

Sooo Smoooth!
FPV Prodigy also has teaching skills. Very impressive kid!
How did I not know your a thumber…keep up the good work kid
Damn that control when demonstrating which trees and gaps to hit using the drone itself is godly skills i don't think i can do that anytime soon damn damn
Love it!
Great video! These precise small power loops are where I struggle. You should try Gimbal Ghost for these tutorials to make the stick movements clearer.
hey man I love your flying style, that takes a lot of control
Thanks BUBBY!
Beautiful ❤️
awesome pilot
I been doing proximity powerloops forever . I do agree they are important. Super easy to do also
Bad ass! Inspiration!
Good tips
Love this 👏👏
Great advice. I should have had a pen 🖊 ready. You hit all my low points. 😁 Thanks Bubby!
In my opinion, the answer to "how to progress at flying..." is not practicing any one trick, but is flying with pilots that are better than you. But a powerloop is surely a fundamental trick in your bag that will teach you many techniques, and is so well explained by Bubby!
@BubbyFPV
Жыл бұрын
i agree completely, this was more meant as if you get really good at this trick, every other new trick you learn will be much easier to do just because this trick involves being good at multiple things that apply to almost every trick out there. throttle control, spatial awareness, accuracy, smoothness on stick, and so much more
I think a power loop is the first trick a pilot want to undertake anyways as it’s the easiest to do but slightly harder to make it looks nice and smooth.
nice moves
🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎 ProxyFlow is the way 🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎
Seeing you thumbing gives me so much hope 👍 great video. Do you fly 4:3 or 16:9?
dat dva theme on the tx16s ... nice ^^
It always looks so smooth when you fly! In this video you said your throttle is not that much responsive. Are u using a throttle courve or throttle expo?
@BubbyFPV
Жыл бұрын
No expo or curve or any of that throttle stuff, just raw powa
WTG @bubbyFPV!!!
Power loop gaps is almost all I do. 😂💯
Cara, gostei muito das dicas, vou treinar! Tamo junto cachorro!
You should be make video to how make tune drone in betaflight, rates pids, esc frequencies and protocol
Excellent video Bubby! So I've been trying to do a proximity power Loop for a while now without any luck. One of the things I have the most trouble with is getting enough propulsion backwards. I always seem to come down on top of the object I'm trying to power Loop around. So my power Loop is more vertical than a roundish Loop. I've tried punching the throttle before I pitch back to the point where the quad is upside down. I'm guessing if the quad is already upside down I'm too late to increase backwards movement. Does anyone have some tricks I can try.
great lesson , greeting from indonesia
Damn. I'm a 33 year old man but I'm envious of lil bub's skills on the sticks.
I'm so surprised how smooth the flying is, while stick movements seem to be to the maximum at some points. What rates are you flying? Is this the power of RC smoothing?
Great vid, thx! Would be nice to know your rates.
It looks better when the branch stays in view. Lower Camera angle probably helps.
@anthonyfpvminiquad1728
Жыл бұрын
Lower or higher doesn't help keep a tight gap. What helps is understanding how much throttle you need . Keeping it in frame is 100% just you controlling pitch and throttle regardless of your camera angle.
What camera angle is best for practicing this trick? Higher angle to see higher (what's above you) or lower angle to slow your speed?
Some days, I hit sick gaps and smooth as butter, others, each pack is a set of props.
Do a video on how to get good at dive gaps!! Bubbyfpv and phantomfpv have top spots on king of the dive gaps! Mabye even a dive gap challenge!!
@BubbyFPV
Жыл бұрын
will definitely do a vid on this :)
if we use tiny whoop can we also have smooth power loop like you did in the videos?
Really, really nice explained , honestly I am still bad in powerloop gaps because I dont have some to work pn just out of concrete Walls and they hurt way more than a branch, our trees have so much lil Branches on the big ones no way to get through here , hmm I need to build me a gate to train that I guess
What settings have you got on betaflight to get you throttle and controls to be smoother? Like you said you can clip your throttle without to much jerking?
How is your throttle set? Throttle mid/expo? Where are you hovering in the throttle? Good to know for comparison…cheers y’all.
So jealous about wheather 😩😩😩
What rates do you use?
I want to try this just don't want to lose another drone. On a budget here.
I like to use a goal post on a football field to practice this.
Great tuto ! Do you have some expo on your throttle ?
@BubbyFPV
Жыл бұрын
Nope nothin on my throttle just raw powaaa
I neeeeed iiiittttt.
What are your throttle curve and limit settings here? It kinda seemed scaled, like 85% or 90% - not sure if I'm imagining that. Do more stick cam videos! They're so so helpful.
@BubbyFPV
Жыл бұрын
I don’t have any throttle curve or throttle limit or anything like that. That’s just how I have optimized my kwad to fly
Need more props!
