I wish the AI for NPCs was smarter and recognized your level and equipment too. I mean a Bandit dressed in animal skins should never challenge someone decked out in full Daedric or Dragon armor.

hehe thats where you're wrong bucko :) im strict legit level 60 no mods on legendary difficulty skeetrim and the bandits are spawning in higher tiers now.. they are just starting to drop dragon plate and scale armor and weapons for me, and the bandits are pretty hard hitting :) no matter how much armor or hp i get i seem to get chunked by arrows.. dang

But these random thieves WILL at least acknowledge Nightingale (or Thieves Guildmaster) armor.

@calvinsFuntimeBounceHouse I've never seen bandits spawn with Dragon gear even on my max level character. If you mean loot chest then that's understandable

i seem to remember i meant the loot they drop in their inventory.. skyrim se.. not chests for sure.. @@artizzy2k2k

He had no idea how f###ed he was.

I once had one of those guys try to shake me down as a werewolf. All the dialogue was still there and he wasn't intimidated.

it would be cool if those highway bandits were scripted differently once you reach a certain level, say 50, like they'd start their usual line and then cut it with "uhh sorry move along" or sth

I know! I mean, to be fair, Skyrim kinda was a precursor to how they did some of the later Fallout games, and you can definitely see the improvements on the interactions they made with those games.

I do like the fact that thieves ln the road will be like, "hey man, how ya doing?" If you're in thieves guild armor.

it says hes a thief, it never said he was smart ;p

Talk about reading the room. If I saw a person dressed in dragon armor or master mage robes I would just say “Have a good day.” and keep it moving lol

Already has glass Armor, but still risks it when he can easily harass low level fools. This guy takes banditry very seriously.

That cloak mod is great, I see quite a few people using it.

If you had good speech he would've walked away...

Isn’t someone working on a unique AI mod that allows NPCs to auto-generate unique dialogue when the player converses with them? Still a little rough around the edges, but it definitely has potential.

They’ll leave you alone if you’re in the thieves guild.
