Of course we love to speculate about rides, especially new coasters, but it's been recently told to me by Drayton Manor officially that this was actually an error of mis-labelling by either the park or the manufacturer. Drayton Manor have said - ''We’re aware that images have been circulating social media featuring incorrect labelling on parts of our new rollercoaster. We can confirm, that as previously announced, this project is an Intamin Lift & Launch Coaster without spinning elements.'' It is really strange how misleading the labels were and is a shame that the speculation on this new coaster and this feature now comes to an end. Maybe one day I'll get something right 😅

Drayton manor told RCCGB that project au is not a spinning coaster and has been labled wrong But it is definitely a custom layout intamin shot and drop

Yeah, that was curious - not sure how it would be "mislabeled" but they have no reason to lie. A mine train sounds like a perfect addition though! Can't wait to ride it.

Having ridden Objectif Mars several times, I can confirm that it’s not extreme at all, the launches were indeed very low on power and the spinning wasn’t crazy. But it features a funny drop track at the very end and a dark ride section at the beginning so it’s still a good ride overall 👍🇫🇷

I rly think the drayton coaster could be intamins take on a cobras curse style ride. Launch forward and on the lift unlock the spinning. We know it's gonna have both

Interesting vlog, enjoyed and look forward for more. Hope to be honest its not an Spinning Coaster as hoping its something else entirely a.k.a the launch and lift hill coaster with backwards seating with loads of unique theming etc. At least for now, I think Project Horizon if a coaster could be a spinning coaster? Think that would be a good unique addition, but I hope for a new addition to Drayton, its not a spinner unless its a small spinning section that happens twice on ride in with story? Most of layout goes around forwards & spins certain sections? But hoping its a coaster mostly with non spinning sections, but thats me. Good to see Project Exodus coaster track now arriving onsite, about time. Thought it would arrive quicker, going to be epic to see new coaster finally all constructed in future. Do think maybe Blackpool will try & take back record in future? But if don't? Think a different UK park will? But nice vlog, really enjoyed and look forward in future to see more vlogs. Draytons new coaster isn’t spinning, it’s just labelled as that on the shipments since the hardware is basically the same as Objectif Mars at futuroscope. It’s just going to be the standard lift and launch coaster.
