I think there's a mod that makes this game spiderman 2.5. It swaps the faces of the characters and makes them the cast

This feels like a more accurate representation of his moves than the other swing mods I’ve seen

Then you will love what I'm working on. Everything is done but new animations. I have to learn how to animate first lol. Ever played Spiderman 2 for 360/PS3/Wii? Basically each trigger would shoot a web from that sides arm and that added tons of depth because if you wanted the fasted turns and movement you needed to know what arm is best to use and when. You can also pull both at once and you will make a web bridge between the 2 objects. Then you can lower yours straight down from almost anywhere. If your standing in the ground or a building then instead of a web bridge you can use it to slingshot yourself and you can control the angle with the camera but it's basically 75% faster once launched than using the the whatever l1 r1 then jump right when you touch the point it is called lol.... Ahh point launch lol. So yeah it works kinda like that but you fly much faster and can get some food height too. I'm so adding new tricks so there will be 9 maybe 12 without losing access to any regular controls on either the dual sense or Xbox controller. I also want to find a way to combine both games into one. So you launch Spiderman Remastered and the main menu comes up and you see 2 names and their normal background pictures. The names will also be in the pause menu so you can essentially switch anytime. Then it would just load your save file for the other game and you're off. You would need to own both and from the same launcher and ideally you would have both on 1 folder so no files need to be moved but I changed my mind. What I'll do, and this will likely take forever but I'll take Spiderman Remastered and put it in morales because it looks and runs better. Whether that's because they had longer to work on it or not I don't know but I don't want to even try backporting effects. So it will grab everything it needs from Spiderman Remastered and create a new custom install so once done you can uninstall spiderman remastered or morales, it really depends on which is harder to move. Spiderman has more but morales uses all of it so...

Oh and I got it working in 3rs and first person VR but if you want it to run well enough to look decent you basically need to shut RT off or have a 4090 or 7900xtx when it's out

play miles morales! i cant stop playing it since it dropped on pc. the air tricks resulting in risk and reward (giving you venom boost) is super addicting. also now i know why people say they cant go back to remastered swinging after miles morales. it looks and feels so stiff. but being my first proper spiderman game aside from the old days of spiderman 2, loved every moment in remastered

To choose which side you want to swing to just choose with your analog left or right and press RT to swing you can be close to the building on the right but is you press left analog right while you are going to press RT it will stick to the left building

This Raimi suit is better than the actual in game one

This is a really nice looking mod I just wish the spinning animation speed was abit more fluid instead of sped up so quickly

It would be even more perfect if the sound of the spider web shot was the same as the raimi saga.

not really fluid... its choppy because of non native animations sometimes which causes to break immersion

For some reason I thought in my head this mod altered the swinging so Spidey would be able to do loop-de-loop's like in Treyarch's Spider-Man 2

I usually don't like the swing mods cause they look awkward but this mod is actually pretty fluid

I really felt like that was Toby swinging! 💯

if the animation transitions were smoother i would've loved them but this is still a BANGER mod

I think all thats missing now is the web sound effect from the raimi films.

Man. My childhood game was 2000's Spiderman (PC port from PS2). Two years later the first Spider Man movie. It took 20 years for the games to get here.

Yeah, I'm using Spider-man Unnerfed. There's a variant which gives you a bit less control mid air, so it's a little bit more realistic. There's also one that COMPLETELY makes you unable to move in air. www.nexusmods.com/marvelsspidermanremastered/mods/2947?tab=files

What Raimi swinging? It just looks like regular swinging in the game to me
