I happened to be in Pattaya so based on the video I went there with my new Thai girlfriend. I think we saw 7 dishes for 25 Baht but even the regular menu are bargain prices. Great find Lucas and thanks for sharing it!

I'm noticing a lot more ramps and accessibility in Thailand. Not just your vlog, but other folks as they explore, I catch it. Nice to see and encouraging.

Thankfully i never sat down with a Thai lady and she ordered enough to cover a table top 555 (the guys i know 🤦‍♂)But i'm guilty of eating in place's where she just didn't feel comfortable (i'm not talking £20 meals for one though Lucas )Go where the Thai's like to eat ,so much more enjoyable ,Back Soi's of Patong told me that years ago, 🙏Eating scrubs (greenery ) , i never knew tasted so fantastic 😁Thanks mate for sharing your time 👍

Can you make a video about the cost for renovating a condo. Ex. install a waterboiler, cut out for water and exit water outside the toilet, repare a refrigerator or tv. extra eletric sockets, paint walls and so on. Just smal stuff you need help with buying a condo

"hide the regular menu." LOL. Family market ------>Tops, good to know. If I can convince wife to go to Jomtien again will defo visit this restaurant. Another great tip. Yeah, to eat 10-12 plates you'd need at least 3 Thai women. It never ceases to amaze me when we go out for the day (eating all day long) the girls always bring back a trunk full of food and have a "round table" sitdown on the floor when we get home and eat for another 2 hours, I just go to the bedroom and read.

That's great value. We have a local restaurant where I live that for lunch they do a buffet. Eat as much as you like for 59BHT. Drinks extra. They do charge extra if you stuff your plate with lots of things you don't eat. So do like the Thais and eat little and often. Oh, they have a different full menu for nighttime that's still cheap but not eat as much as you like.

I had to laugh, I called in today for some food as I'm always up for a bargain. They didn't give me the 25 baht menu, I had to look for it in their on line system. They were very surprised when I ordered from it 😂

Ohhh Loucous. I have just got back to Manchester UK from Thailand. I decided to not go to Pattaya but went to BKK, Kanchanaburi, Hua Hin, Cha'am and some other places. as someone that is much closer to retiring there, i love these types of deal vids. especially considering the chain of events that happened to me the past few days, i might end up there sooner rather than later. i could do the live jumping shrimp, but i cant eant the raw shrimp lan had. my gut will kill me later if i did that. it doesnt take much to fill me up these days. that kaprow will be enough to get tme through 2 days if i'm being honest. anyway, keep living life lucas. its just way too short.

You are an adventurous fellow for sure! Twenty-five baht food is a little scary, unless the restaurant knows they'll lose money on that and make it up on dishes such as the shrimp and smoothies. I'd be curious to ask them how many come for only the 25 Baht dishes and don't buy anything else. Bet that's the minority. :)

The restaurant's name translates to "Sadistic Somtum". That's probably why you found a tad too spicy 🤪

Crazy prices and portions! Where is their profit margin? Probably rely on volume sales as well as drinks. Or like Lan ordering Shrimp 😂. Everything is Tops now. I have maybe 3-4 Tops near me within maybe 300-400 meters. Thanks Loucas

I wouldnt call this a resturant so 25 is decent orice not very cheap. The cake and the papaya sallad dragged the overall dow they was very high priced but the chicken looked like it contained s good amount of chicken
