Sheeshh 70 miles of range is unbelievable for just one battery, impressive
Not saying this as a bad thing but its more how European e-bikes are designed since a few years. The power is more than enough in this case from the bafang that depending on gearing system can work perfectly fine as a 'gas peddle' by putting more of less power in the legs. On 5 or 'turbo' (bosch) you hardly push really. Now the more highend models would use 'better' gearing like mine (riese and muller) uses a belt system with automatic gearing so you don't even need to shift it does all automatic. Put the bosch system in sport or auto and just drive no gear shifting both hands free and on the breaks only. Ride about 31miles a day on it. range is probably more like 50 miles on that in a 2 or 3 mode. But some can come with dual batteries installed.
