Usually we’re looking into pond water or whatever other fascinating bit of nature that James, our master of microscopes, usually looks at. But right now, our sights are coming to us directly from the kitchen and from a different master of microscopes.

Can we please have a Sci Show (maybe Tangents) on why you guys call a Kiwifruit a "Kiwi"? As someone who considers himself a Kiwi and of very close kin to the Kiwi to which you guys call "Kiwibird", I find odd you choose not to add fruit to Kiwifruit but to add fruit to Dragonfruit. 😊

A pause at 58 seconds made me inspired to paint. I love abstract and sometimes things give a confident feeling of there is no wrong in art. That picture I paused on would make a great painting with the contrasting black rings and the title of “potato” would seem weird but not wrong lol.

Potatoes a great food ? According to a study made by the NIH, “cerebrovascular (26%) and cancer (52%) mortality risk was greater in individuals with higher potato consumption than those with the lowest intake.” Conclusion of the study : “No significant effects of potato intake on long term mortality rates, whereas higher potato consumption was adversely related to cardiometabolic risk factor.” Eat your potatoes wisely folks, this ain’t a great food actually, test everything, never take anything you hear for granted. Aside from that, great video as usual on this channel, a feast for the eyes
