Watame did mention that there is hope that Haachama can return for her anniversary which is in December after talking with her. One have to remember Haachama was very young when she first joined Holo just getting out of high school, than travelling to Australia for more schooling, than returning for even more schooling. She had a lot on her plate as well as all the commitments with Hololive on top of that. It's really not surprising her health deteriorated & all the stress that came with it. From what we hear from all who have talked with her, she's in good spirits. She just needed time to slow down & all we can do is wish her the best during that time and not rush her back barring any set backs that may happen.

Haachama was the first person to lead me into the vtuber rabbit hole and I only knew that she studied in Australia and that was it. Hearing both her overseas experience and how she persevered through it is inspiring to me as I don't look back fondly of my last years of school feeling emptiness anytime I think of it. While this might just be temporary motivation, I can at least see Haachama and many others who have experienced similar issues that have learned to move forward/succeed as should I accept whats done is done and learn from those mistakes.

I remember one of her karaoke streams she set up a wheel with the names of her various characters. Red-kun, Loli-chama, Haato, Haachama, and more I'm blanking out on. At each song, she spun the wheel and sang the song in that voice. Each was so distinctive. Worlds strongest idol.

I ha no doubts in my mind that she is in fact the Strongest Idol. I've been following her for almost 3 years and her determination is insane. Singing, streaming, performing, she puts her 100% on everything!!! All that while she's so busy with school and constantly ill. She deserves everything she has accomplished and more! The only thing i want is for her to be remembered, to be acknowledged as a force of nature that cannot be stopped. That her title is No Joke.

The outpouring of support for the world's strongest idol is truly great. She will return. She will be stronger. She will sneeze and make you happy all day. I know it!

If there is one word that suits haachama, I would say “dedication”. Most people might think of kaela instead, but... behind the scenes, with all that she has gone through, all the effort that she has put in, and still staying strong despite often getting less appreciation than all the work that she has done, with all that... I can definitely say that haachama truly deserves the title of “the strongest vtuber”.

I remember I would force myself to wake up early to watch the coexist arc, a fundamentally hard thing to do as a devout night owl at the time.

Chammers is one of the catalyst of me diving to vtubers, especially when I heard she survived in studying here in the Philippines. God bless her, she made a ton of people happy

Haachama is one of the reason why I fell into this VTuber rabbit hole. I've been following her since she was liveng here in Australia. I consider her and Coco as the pillars why VTubing in the west became so popular as it is right now. I can understand her hardships while she was studying and living here being bullied in school because she's an asian on a white dominated community. And also having a slow inernet, yup that's still true here in Australia. Well it improved a bit but still nowhere from other first world countries. I was watching that stream when she teared up and blamed herself about Coco's graduation, that just made me annoyed and angry on that country who harrassed her and Coco after that incident. It's just a simple mistake that country made it a big deal. Thanks for making this video, I'm waiting patiently for her return.

Thanks for the Chama documentary! One thing though, I disagree that we took that hiatus announcement in stride. Since I've been watching her, I've never seen her manager post something on her behalf. She had always let us know herself. I was very concerned when I saw this and told myself "if we get another post from mane-chan after 4th fes then things are very bad" and that was exactly what happened. For her fan base, there was tons of angst because it was not how she's ever announced her hiatus and we didn't know where she was health-wise. Her letter revealed how bad the situation was and why she wasn't communicating. I'm really thankful that she's been in touch with other holomems and has indicated her desire to return. I just hope her health comes back in full. She's been through too much in her life already!

Haachama is the vtuber who brought me down the rabbit hole. Before there were really any English vtubers (save very hard to find independent people) I watched Haachama do English streams. After some time, my birthday came around and I didn’t have much but I gave her a paltry $2 superchat, my first superchat ever. She read it immediately and stopped to sing a full happy birthday song to me and tell me congratulations. Haachama was extremely creative, kind, and I never felt like she was attempting to milk her fanbase (unlike many vtubers unfortunately). She never deserved the hate she got, but the fact she endured it was amazing honestly, and for that alone she would deserve the title of World's Strongest Idol. I remember all of the constant spam in chat from fake Chinese fans, and how one clip channel was immediately unsubbed to basically 0 because they said they stood against Coco and Haachama.

Taiwan is a beautiful country! Haachama and Coco is eternal

It's crazy that you can be watching a community for so long and still find out stories that you never knew. I have been watching Hololive since the end of 2020. When I started outside of EN I watched mainly Korone, Coco and Haachama. I knew about the Taiwan incident and I knew about Coco's attachment to Haachama, but I didn't realise how much else she had gone through before that, even when I was watching Haachama cooking, and here ARG arc. She is the ultimate underdog, who no matter how hard she gets knocked down will never give up her dreams and get back up, and I have nothing but admiration for her.

Akai Haato pulled me into the rabbit hole, Haachama surprised me, but they both became my oshi. She's been through so much and at such a young age, but she has always shown us how strong she can be. I'm always surprised of how much passion she has. Learning about hospitalization hit me hard, but if waiting and wishing for her recovery is the only thing we can do, then that is nothing compared to all she has done for us.

Haachama is one of the Pillars of Hololive. I believe in her and always will.

well yeah ngl even when i was studying back in the philippines they were really strict about students skipping school or leaving the school premise so they usually install barb wires and hire security guards to prevent students from skipping. Btw most or if not all the school in the philippines have tall walls and security guards. You would need an ID and get pass inspection at the entrances just to get to class.

Had to wait a day to watch the video because I knew I had to prepare myself for watching, knowing the topics you would probably cover, and yeah, got really emotional, having been there for some of those heart wrenching moments, seeing them again got me really welled up. Thank you fornthe video, wonderful job as always.

As someone who only became a Haato/Haachama fan over the past year or so, I did NOT know all of the shit she went through prior to the Taiwan thing. She truly is the strongest idol, and she deserves that title. I know she'll make it through this and be even stronger than before.

As a Filipino, the only schools that are as strict as Prison with this type of features she mentioned were probably a Private Catholic School, a Government Public School, or an Antique Old University. But I think, she's probably sent to a government public school. I was also sent in the same type of school with the same experience. It will definitely toughen you up. No one will spoon feed you. And you will be force to adapt or you will break. *Edit: many foreigners or stranger to these type of school will probably think, "won't this scar a child/student mentally and emotionally?" I'll answer you with: "You won't have a time to think about unaliving or getting depressed by yourself if you don't have the energy to think about it." Basically, you're so fcking tired at the end of the day that the only thing you want isn't freedom or luxury, but a fcking SLEEP in fact, you will be so tired that you won't even have nightmares and just wake up with a fresh morning. Btw that's how the army breaks their recruits and mold them into soldiers so.... I hope she returns healthy. Wish her the best !

During the tail end of the lockdowns here in the UK, life had become pretty dull but then I stumbled into the HoloLive rabbit hole and for several weeks the sound of Haachama's greeting took root in my brain and I was walking around with an insane grin on my face as if I was having the time of my life! HoloLive has been nothing short of a miracle insofar as the joy it has brought me in an otherwise miserable and unredeemable existence. Haachama was/is a hugely significant part of that and I can't thank her enough. Hachamachama indeed.

An a Filipino who also went to Australia for 2 weeks, that Haachama being the “STRONGEST” idol is an understatement on what she has gone through. Philippines schools are really close to prisons,middle school to junior High you can’t leave school premises until appointed time, usually 3 or 4pm (Senior high is sole exception, but mine only allowed it when it’s 1pm) Also for Australia experience, as long your in the Major cities you’ll be fine but for rural areas where my aunt lives it’s really what say about that place

i remember watching the stream when haachama blamed herself for cocos graduation and i cried my eyes out with her as she promised to become the worlds strongest idol and to me and many others and most importanly her friend behind coco shes already done that she is stronger than anyone else all the hardships shes gone through shes done her best to make others happy and for that i want her to be happy. when i saw the tweet from july i cried hard it was beautiful to see all the support from other talents wishing her the best and a speedy recovery im happy you covered it in the video it made me cry too, haachama can take as long as she needs to rest i know there will be so many ready for her return no matter how long we all love our strongest idol get well soon haachama. the things she went through in high school is extremely saddening that she had to go through those things but she showed her strength and pushed through it and it is really commendable. thank you yiman for this wonderful documentary and yes i cried seeing the talents tweets at the end♥

Although I am not a Haaton, I am a Hololive Fan (no-merch purchased). Hearing the backstory/lore of the real person behind the screen puts a new perspective on how they are shown on screen. When you learn that the Idols themselves also go though such hardships and still put in the work to appear every time to the audience they have gathers over the years, says alot. "Everyone" has their own story, and the fact that these Fans are able to tell this story to us (outsiders) who do not follow straight from the source, opens the doors for us to see the invisible baggage that they carry. This not only applies to Haachama but everyone else as well, stories that would not have been repeated are told by others and passed on by word of mouth to the tiniest of cracks that may or may not be told in the future (You might not hear about it now, but who knows when someone might want to hear about it in the future like I have today and that one person who knows will have the answer). This might not be a big deal to me or anyone else, but I will appreciate what every Idol has gone though (beginnings) the next time they throws a big event, to at least show up and just see how far they have gone before the very end (Inevitable Grad...). To really say (to my self) that the time we spent following (supporting) along was not for nothing and had a meaning to at least one person (Idol). Even if we are a number (Viewer) on their screen, it has a diffrent meaning to them when you understand that the number might just be the same person who was with them from the beginning (even if they were not there from the beginning there would still be others who would at least know what they had gone though to get to where they are now). Since their story has not yet ended. I do not specifically dive into peoples backstory, I just let it naturally come to me via algorithims, I do not follow behind the scenes and get most of my info (clippers/Story-tellers) from the dedicated Fans who do spend time in their Idols lives, but the Fans are the true Heart of an Idol as they are able to make moves to those who have not or did not commit/heard of them (Idols) yet. The Idols (Vtuber) are an Island (livestream), and the Fans (Haaton/etc) are the Ferry-Boat Captains (Clippers) who chauffer (YT) guests (me/viewer) to the Island, some may not know of said Island, but if the captains of each boat do advertise/sell the tour to the island really well, it might have them come back again, and maybe become a Fan or Captain themselves. Hololive is a genuine established franchise that is continuing to grow with new Idols and opporunities (Concerts) being introduced, without the Fans effort, these knowledge (Good & Bad) would only be known to the Fans if they did not share it to others. And I will keep watching and supporting from the back until I stop/quit doing so. Fans leaving an imprint of the past for future audiences to tune to for a history lesson if they still continue to keep going further into the far future. (If you have time, copy pasta or make sure you show your support to the Idols & Clippers by Liking and Commenting so it gets picked up by the algorithim (a Numbers Game (The higher the number = the more likely it will show on peoples suggested videos (within the same genre/algorithim)), this is equivalent to spreading it by word of mouth. Do your part!)
