Merlin, your channel used to be pretty mellow and easy watching! But the past two? Well I guess technically the last one with you was Paul's. Have been an emotional rollercoaster! The boat give back was happy tears because of your big heart, thoughtfulness and hard work. Now this one has had me laughing all throughout the entire video! For Merlin!

I love the random projects you find yourself running into. You are such a mechanical genius and can make most anything you have on hand work for some type of project you have going on. I love it! As the other commenters were saying that last video you all put t together of the boat was pretty heart warming and just goes to show how good of people you and your cousins Paul and Ben are. Keep doing wha you're doing, its sooo entertaining and I look forward to the release of each and every video you put together.

Regarding the electric fans on the radiator - I've got a 96 Safari with a 250hp Cat that was having issues with it running too warm, so I added electric fans to pull the air out and help cool the engine down. On mine they work fantastic, and an added bonus is they help pull the heated air away from my generator (that is also in the rear end), and when I shut down for the day, the fans run on thermostat to continue to pull air through, keeping the bed from getting so hot.

For parts this is a massive score!

It’s got real potential. Once all the junk gets cleaned out everything is an improvement. The outside looks pretty good. The fridge/freezer is probably a goner. Some of us would be happy to get something like that to clean up and refit. Great video!

Was chuckling throughout, then the pull chain switch to run an AC? (Or 12v light??) Almost fell off my chair ! Definitely fun to watch the varied reactions from the familys, lol! That was a led can light from a house, it's a 120-volt light, looks like it was tapped into whatever fed that ac unit.

That belt on the end of the throttle rope was the "Cruise Control"! You adjust the belt to set the speed!.. :) :)

The "rope throttle"..... Reminded me of a time when my throttle cable broke on my Harley, while a friend and I were on the way to the parts store ! I had a small needle nose vice grips clamped on a frame tab and we used them to strip some cable cover off and clamp onto the frame and wrap around the jaws of the vice grips. My buddy ran the throttle, while on the back, as we headed to the parts store. His idea of how much throttle was needed was more than we needed!!!!!!!!! A few times I had to tell him that was enough and I would hear an evil chuckle frome him ! 🙄 🤣 🤪

Score on the motor and the genny. We had a freezer quit on us one summer. It was under a carport. Dont know how long it wasn't working before I opened it. The stink almost literally knocked me off my feet. When you were reaching for the freezer door I was cringing and saying nooooooo.

Going from a boat underwater for years to a motorhome that looks like it was in breaking bad but the generator was the diamond in the rough

That Onan is a good score on top of a good Cummins motor. Those gennies are solid units.

Merlin never disappoints, with his acumen, insight, talent, skill & prowess; dealing with the boat, frame, engine & then getting it on the water - amazing & remarkable. Quite the emotional tale by the previous owners. And then taking a "junkyard motorhome' off someone's lot, "fixing", rigging a handle then foot "cord petal" to power the beast to get it to Kingman. I suppose there will be more to "both stories" in the future? The monkey, quite the "distraction" from the mayhem of trash & junk in the big unit. Good luck with that, or at least the engines? And I'd love to see the boat stick with you, near "your waterfront".

I’m new to your channel after watching the yellow submarine adventures. Still amazed at the outcome with the boat and hearing the story of the owners on that tragic day when it sunk. Well after working on this questionable motor home, it can only be on to better things in 2023. Happy New Year!

If you think that's bad. I used to tear down and set up Mobile Homes. I did hoarders, homes people passed in and weren't discovered for a while. The worst I ever did was a burn job. That refrigerator could've gagged a maggot. God bless

If the roof leaked there's mold inside the walls, since it's rear engined already why not scrap the shell shorten the chassis find a cool old cab and build a wheelie truck ? The Big Red Wagon

We have a 96 Winnebago Vectra F53 ford with a 460 ....Thank god it doesn't look like that! These old motorhomes are a job to keep up but I have no payment . I'm sure it will be time to upgrade but we're comfortable and happy with this one

That Onan genset was a 7 to 8 grand new

Hi guys - I came for the 'submarine' (for which, huge admiration) - and stayed... But this I did NOT expect...!

Just started watching this episode. And it’s interesting because I actually own a 92 Cummins powered Oshkosh Fleetwood bounder motorhome. It looks to be the exact same model. But of course, mine is not such a mess. That Onan generator uses a three cylinder, Kabota engine, that’s good property !

I’m a little worried about those extra fans on the backside of the radiator. Normally that engine fan is more than enough to do the job.

A sewer boot is what holds the black PVC cold air intake (no intercooler) that replaced galvanized fence pole one to cut down on vibration when did the TD swap. It works.

That was a Good Find with that 5.9 in it..LOLNow the rest of it isnt a good find...LOL..I have a 1994 Monaco Dynasty 38 ft but it has the 8.5 in her..And the inside is alot CLEANER...LOL..HAHA..Great Video. Jimmy You are the MAN. Bud...LOL..I dont know too many People that would crawl in a place like that at Night then steer that thing across town. In the Night...Hats off too You Sir...Again Great Video. Happy New Year too You Guys...
