Just wanted to let you know, that if you want some monster truck action from rainbow studios again, then you can play monster jam steel titans 2, was developed by rainbow studios, and I say the 2nd game because the first game had some really bad physics compared to the 2nd game.

yo, would definitely love to see more videos of this game :D i used to play the monster energy supercross and mxgp games a lot a couple of years ago, but eventually got fed up with the physics - or lack thereof - in those games. the physics in this game looks way more fun :D

This game feels pretty good when you can find the flow of the track

This game has really improved the past year, originally when it released it really was not good, but i started playing again with their AMA Outdoor replica tracks in summer of '23 and have put in 100+ hours and got platinum trophy and grinded online races & leaderboards lap times. All around quite happy that they turned it around and keep bringing new content for this title!

Worst racing game for battles. The guy your battling against goes down or you do, now you or them are 6+ seconds back and it ruins the battle. Half the time I stop so the people can ketchup with me and they won’t back out of the lobby😂 kinda 90% of the lobby leaves during rain races.

This looks like a cool game to play, might give it a try

Doing the big trail races in first person is absolutely one of the best things to come to a MX game absolutely beautiful and massive slept on for sure the lack of sponsors and bikes is sad but having full customization of the bike is nice

I don't think a MX game will come close to Reflex. It is the best game created IMO & I really wish more fan-made tracks were actively being created. I find myself coming back to Reflex very often & occasionally I'll play untamed and unleased. It's just sad to me that the MX games have de-evolved after Reflex.

I understand the love for Reflex, but I think MX Bikes and Legends are really good. Legends has the potential to be the best MX vs ATV game when it's all said and done. The motocross is the most fun I've had playing an MX vs ATV game since Reflex.

Nah man the physics lack very hard for the quads(atv) in this game . I feel it's two wheel favored and yes maybe it got better for you.

Picked this up 2 days ago, Loving the trail riding in 1st person, it's soo good.

Looking at this track reminds me a lot of Motocross Madness 2 - one of the greatest motocross games ever made. Incredible game and still to this day is hard to beat.

Well, rainbow studios did make those motocross madness games as well, so that’s probably why! I played MCM1 but never had 2. I never played MCM2, probably because I was just a kid and I was busy playing moto games on my PS1. Not even sure if the family computer could run MCM2

Its not that nobody is playing time trials its the fact that most of the time trials are on supercross and the pro moto tracks.

The scrub hill you can definitely double down then hit the big step down too, this games miles better in manual

Untamed had some decently-realistic MX tracks like Split Oak, Crawley Creek and Lakewood all were 100% doable IRL The ridiculous ones were Del Sol, Copper valley, Greenfield, Sutherlin valley and specially MFing Pine Lakes BTW, I really think that the best way to do a MX vs ATV game is to be "simplistic" rather than unrealistic. Overlook is a fun one-off but the lap length is way too much and it's very much out of place. San Sendero is probably a better example of "exaggerated reality", you should do a video on that one, it has some DUMB jumps.

Slept on? No… let down? Yup. Look at the reviews. They are ruining the mx vs atv franchise and it’s sad! Wild how dudes who DONT get paid can build better tracks and physics but the actual game developers can’t?? Huh? Just watch some of the newer PC reflex stuff and it’s obvious.

What’s new with reflex? I haven’t kept up with that game in years. It’s all an opinion, but I really think Legends is a good game. The stock tracks are excellent, the game looks great, they’re constantly working on the gameplay physics and updating the game. It has all the national tracks and other replicas as DLC as well. I think they’re doing a great job, and it appears that a lot of people are playing Legends. I’ve played em all when it comes to moto games, and legends is a good game. I have fun with it, and that’s what matters to me for games

@@SomethingRad one issue is they keep putting out DLC’s without fixing the existing problems. That makes them look super greedy. Like hey guys we know you have the problems with the game that are valid but buy this thing we added…The game has been out for over a year and people have had a consistent complaints with the sound on the game. There are countless comments about people playing the game on mute because the engines sound so bad. Also they added features to the game that made it less enjoyable. For instance, they added rain storms which in theory sounds cool, but at the end of the race there’s only three people left because everybody’s done left the lobby. And for reflex there are now 100’s of tracks that you can download on pc… and they are amazing tracks made by fans of the game. A lot of those guys didn’t even make money on those tracks. They wanted em out there for the community.

@@josephcapps7325 I used to play Reflex custom tracks all the time back around 2016-2017. I have a few videos still on the channel of Reflex, but I think I deleted a lot of older videos years ago. I played Reflex and MX Simulator all the time back then. As far as the sounds go, I agree, they need a lot of work, but that's not what stops me from having fun with a dirt bike game. I like the game, and you're completely valid for not liking the game, but I like almost every motocross game. I do appreciate you watching a leaving a comment and actually having a civilized debate. That's rare on KZread

Personally, I find MX Bikes is realistic ONLY in the bike physics and handling. Everything else like the bike graphics and models, track graphics and models, object collisions, terrain deformation, lag spikes and the stupid head-touch thing the rider does. IF they fix ALL of that, only then can it be a good game. It's nearly 2024, bad models and graphics do not get a pass anymore.

I think MX Bikes looks great! It also has mods for bikes, graphics, and tracks. The multiplayer has gotten a lot better as well. MX Bikes is a great game to me!

I fucked this game up I literally binged it so much fun

i liked that mva alive realy much.. But that game can not play on PC sadly.. Dont know why they never bring alive to PC..

It's the wonky physics that turned me away. It feels like the Mariokart of motocross, and I'm just not looking for that. I even had more fun playing unleashed and untamed recently.

Valid opinion! I think the physics can be a little wonky at times as well, but I know what they’re doing behind the scenes, and they really are trying to make the game better. I enjoy the freedom of the bike in air and I think that the bike handles decently well on the ground too. Sometimes goofy stuff happens though and crashed and weird bounces can ruin the flow. The games not for everyone, but I do think a lot of people already enjoy the game, or would enjoy the game if they tried it. I’ve seen a lot of people tell me they won’t even try it and calling it awful, which I don’t think is fair.

Does it have a free ride or is it all tracks?

It does have free ride! There’s a lot of hidden spots throughout the free ride maps. I do want to make a free ride video for sure

most of the people hating on the game are complaining about the physics with is funny because its an arcade game so idk what they where expecting

That’s exactly it. People want something that MX vs ATV isn’t. This game is not trying to be realistic, and people need to understand that this game is supposed to be its own thing and to play it for what it is. Once people realize that, they’ll enjoy more of these games

Because we want reflex physics. Reflex is still so far away from being realistic and it's not like it wasn't an arcade game. MX bikes and mix sim are not alternatives to reflex.

@@SomethingRad They absolutely can. If a person wrote the original code, another person can write code that feels 99% the same. They just dont want to, they think (and they're probably right) that most of the people buying the game think that reflex is too difficult. It's the same problem any game has: the diehard fans want something that the general casual player base doesnt want. If you make exactly what your dedicated fans want, you risk alienating the casual players. It is an intentional choice to not give us Reflex 2.0, but they could absolutely do it.

Did the game improve by 1000x over what it was at launch? The reason people "sleep on" the game is because it was trash at launch. I didnt buy it (and wont) because I will not reward a company for putting out garbage and then maybe fixing it later.

I’m playing on a different version of the game, so that’s why the leaderboards were so empty. I didn’t realize this until afterwards when someone explained it

I love MX Bikes and it’s for sure much more realistic, but it’s a completely different game from legends. If you want to play a career mode, mx bikes doesn’t have that. Saying one is better than the other is subjective depending on what type of dirt game you’re looking for. I enjoy both and play both on the channel!

Two completely different games man. MX Bikes is such a sick game, and if you want something more realistic, MXB is perfect for that. Legends is a good game too, but it’s for a different mindset. This game is supposed to be a little unrealistic and just a fun arcade game. Not every game is supposed to be a realistic simulator
