I couldn't disagree more, I am British and from Spain and the UK are adopting the Spanish Education system which is only theory, my son has been through this system and it is so stressful, having myself gone through the British system, it was truly so much better. I learnt Home Economics food, it was brilliant, let's not turn into the Spanish Education system.

Luckily the UK education system is classed as one of the best in the world (top 10), but I agree they need to bring back home economics, and wood work as well as others to allow creative children to use their minds.

I think the teachers xmas presents thing put a lot of pressure on families who are struggling a little homemade card is nice and inexpensive. Because the children ha e made it themselves should suffice.

Im a teacher from Australia and we finished yesterday with lovely homemade morning tea made from the parents to say thanks. The table was decorated also with flowers from their garden. No family felt pressure to be included or did it shower one teacher with more gifts because you had certain families. We are also a foundation to year 12 school, so it meant the high school teachers were thanked too. 🧁 🧀 💐

Giles DOESN'T need to MANsplain to the other guest what the commentator is discussing!!! Gods...so over listening him to rattle on about the past..."I was an MP." "When I was at boarding school." Can this television show focus on modern society???

How about giving a lonely neighbour or someone in a long term care home, (without family), a homemade care or a small visit. You really think kids make cards for anyone? Guess you missed the part about how Twit Ashley doesn't send cards...do you really think she has the capacity to make one?
