1:09:33 not saying it's the right play but a fun play would be use cookbook to discard asmo. Goryo's asmo. Play the cookbook. Get in with 9/9 construct and 3/3 asmo. That's lethal without discarding other stuff so if they kill token well at least you still have bosejui and jegantha. Alternatively but similar is discard and goryu's the Jegantha and cast the Asmo but not cookbook. Now got a 5/5 and 8/8 coming in. Lets you still Bosejui the binding and then kill the token that comes from it. Construct will shrink but still lethal that turn... well if opponent doesn't realize they can veil that

Yeah, that was a tough turn. Watching back, I think I forgot that channeling the Boseiju meant I didn't have to discard anything to Cookbook to cast Asmo as well. I think that I just wanted to be as conservative as possible because I was in an ok spot.

I have but all the one drops are just so underwhelming. Captive Weird from the new set is interesting but probably still not Modern power level.

Scry 10 draw 4 instead of draw 14?
Isn't griselbrand still better than Atraxa since there's no pitching involved here?

Well Atraxa is better when you're a very low life total since you get the cards and get to go back up to 8+ life and you're probably not losing too many games if you hit anyone with an Atraxa anyways even if you "only" get 4 cards
