I think that there is a difference between a custom print/ hair and a complete figure that kind of removes the blocked lego aspect that everyone loves but the custom does look cool

Im all for custom figs but that is no where near worth that much.

for me the lizard really looks cursed because the arms are too small and the head is just weird

Tbh, I feel Lizard was a cool costume figure, I loved that. And this Doc Ock looks nice, but while Lizard gave a better representation to the character while kept the toy-nes of it, I feel this figure limits itshelf too much, since the arms can't be bended, and maybe that's the best thing about the doctor, having his unique arms. Again, it looks cool, but feels to limiting

Personally, i dont use custom figures in my builds. Is tñnot becuase there bad, i just prefer using oficial lego pieces to keep it all actual lego.

I understand the limitation in using only pieces Lego produce, again there nothing wrong with that, but with customs from custom companies (not talking about knockoffs) you'll find not only are most of them the same quality of official Lego but the character is represented more arcuately :) everyone's gunna have a different opinion on customs and thats okay :D

I think that Lego thought you wouldnt care to notice the detail on mini-figs for this particular set because it is more of a display set rather than play set

I really want to see trench coats in LEGO using the same material as the capes they use. I think LEGO are just waiting for that perfect IP to try this though but custom figures of say Hellboy or Neo require something stylised like this.

I don’t think any LEGO figure that is over 20 bucks is worth it no matter how detailed after all it is just a lego figure and it’s small so not much is going on there

I’m personally have no problem with customs, the more detailed, the more accurate, the better

It seems that LEGO still bases figures off of concept art, even years after the film is out

the only thing i dont like is the face and hair, looks of

I'm not even close to a purist and I loved the Lizard, but this figure looks horrible. It loses every element of the Lego vibe that the Lizard kept, this figure ain't it. Definitely not the "same way Lego makes them" like you're looking for imo
