I ordered a GOD7, which has a Ryzen 7840HS + integrated Radeon 780M. I think the 5700U coupled with the cool Cyberpunk case is a bad choice for the manufacturer. They should at least have the 5800HS or a 6000 model ready as a minimum.

I love seeing minipc stuff, I will have to get one since a full upgrade is too much for now. Only thing I need is to know how well newish games like Elden Ring and Palworld would hold up on them.

As someone who games and has a mini pc as a daily driver currently (thought not this one), i'mma say this about that: is the game ten years old? you could run it fine. newer than that? concessions WILL be made, and sometimes you're just not gonna get there. on low i'm pulling 15 fps on RDR2, and my mini is a li'l more powerful than this one.

Building a PC with 8700G will be expensive compared to these minis. I am thinking of a mini with 7840HS, it is basically a 8700G.

Still amazes me how far technology has come, just since my childhood. And I'm not even that old yet! From blowing into Nintendo cartridges, to carrying around super computers in our pockets. The world has come a long ways. Whether that's a good thing or not, is debatable.

Here's a secret most people don't know..... Xenia Canary runs games better than the ps3 emulator for PCs that don't have the CPU power I can barely play Skate 3 on RCPCS3, but it runs perfect on Xenia Canary

You reviewed the Trigkey which had Vega 8 graphics with the Ryzen 5800H. Was that a little bit better in your testing?

Not sure if you know this, but for FSR to properly work your game resolution needs to be lower than the displays resolution. Great video as always!

The bottom of this thing is stupid, almost as bad as the UM690 (non-"s") from Minisforum - nothing to help cool the NVME or RAM. caused all sorts of issues.

Up until the last year they were adequate at best for classic windows stuff. I had 2 old BeeLinks for working from home. When work could only pump out 1080P on the work virtual PC, they kept up. Work upgraded. For yucks I tried a 4K Fire TV. They couldn't keep up. 90% of time it was just Visual Studio Enterprise on the screen. But, it was not a smooth experience. Not wanting to go back to 1080P I bought a capable laptop. The smallest Beelink (much smaller than the current models) I recently overwrote Windows with Chrome OS Flex. A few dropped KZread frames now and then at 1080P and I have it and an old monitor set up in the basement. Using a TCL Mesh setup and a Ethernet cable to the BeeLink.

Im god. Oh wait, too many responsibilities, i take it back!

Yup! But the 512 steam deck is almost twice the price, so for people looking for a cheap PC to do some easier gaming this is a good choice.

Also, this mini PC has a stupid AMD with stupid Vega and no stupid updates for stupid drivers. If it's not obvious, I'm angry and not in the mood to be eloquent.

Don't buy this device, scam take care of your money, its not good
