Love that the hose and accessories are all inside! Three ways it beats a regular "shop vac" : 1) no power cord, 2) hose not flopping everywhere when u move/store it, 3) accessories are all there when you need them and not constantly getting knocked off the base of the shop vac. This truly is real nass like.

Yo TRZ! Yep, I have that EXACT wet/dry vac and LOVE it! It's not brushless, but that's okay. I refuse to get anything m18 FUEL anymore! 😝 Having said that, 2 flaws, I've noticed. 1. As you mentioned, it doesn't come with a brush attachment, but that's a solvable issue. 2. After wet vacuuming mucky and yucky water, the catch can and hose aren't, exactly, the easiest to clean. Especially the catch can. So many contours and corners, it's kind of annoying. Too bad Shop-Vac and their smooth tubs are no more. Meaning, if this m18 version had a smooth tub (catch can) it would be much MUCH easier to get that "swamp water" out of it. Great video and thank you! God bless! 😎🎸👍

But the filter is located all down at the bottom of the dust (wet) container so it will be in the water, right? That's not good, wet dust can turn into "concrete" and be very hard to get out of your filter. Or are the 1-2 inched "free" space between the filter and the bottom?

I have their leaf blower and I actually do use it to blow crap into my neighbors yard! We have a wall that my neighbors gardeners trim the hedges on once a weeks and they always angle the trimmer so most of the crap falls in my yard so they don't have to clean it up. I've yelled at them numerous times, so sometimes if I'm home & I catch them doing it, I blow all the leaves into a pile, load up the huge tube on the leaf blower like a tennis ball shooter...and blast it in the air over the wall into their yard while they're still there (they have a pool in the other side) so they have to then clean it all out of the pool before leaving so their client doesn't get pissed 😂🤣 I swear I'm not a dick, but if you'd see what they leave in my yard & you had to clean it up every week...you'd feel satisfied too lol Go Milwaukee!!!

One design flaw that is horrible on the PackOut, is there stubbornness to make a non standard 1-1/4" connection. It's essentially in reverse, size wise (male & female connection). I have 1-1/4" extension pieces that I used to get high up spider webs, but huge fail there. You should have splurged on the Fuel. Much, much quieter. lo/hi options, and dont' need to open for the hose. It's never touched another Packout item, other than to vacuum them out.

I’ve had two of these in a year and a half. The first one was covered under a warranty replacement. Pros: * Cordless Convenience * Great warranty (you’ll probably need it if you work in a trade) * Decent Battery life with some of the heavier batteries from Milwaukee * Great for small applications (sucking water out of toilets or air conditioner/water heater pans, removing Sheetrock and dust when cutting through walls, etc…) * Excellent Portability * Design having the attachments and hose underneath the top of the vacuum is much more convenient and less likely to lose attachments than the Rigid Job Site corded vacuum I had. Cons * Design is very fragile. My first unit had the plastic latches break off and then the switch to turn the unit on stopped working. My second unit had the little seal where the filter attaches to pull apart after the second month. It still operates, but kind of a pain knowing that stuff isn’t designed to last longer. * Unless you’re in the trades and have an assortment of batteries, a typical battery on this will not last long for your applications. Final thoughts: Can be a very useful tool for many applications, but be prepared to return it underneath warranty because the craftsmanship is no where near as reliable as other brands like Rigid. You are trading reliability for convenience and portability. If mine breaks, I will buy another one because they are very useful for my Residential service work.

Damn bro, that's not good. I'll do a one year later and see how it holds up. Hopefully the warranty is helping you with the issues

Is it good for sucking up like water out of carpet?

Not really, you would be better off with a corded shop vacuum. The cordless stuff isn’t going to last long enough to pull all the water up

I have to agree with James. If it's a small area, then yeah it should be fine... but large areas you should check out the larger ridgid vacs

@@ToolReviewZone yeah I have a 12 gal 5hp ridgid vac, was just wanting something more portable figured I'd stick with corded after watching all of the cordless vac reviews
