So a massive shoutout to the devs for inviting me for an early look at their new Force Recon game mode as part of the new GM 1.5 update. There's a ton of new awesome stuff to check out, but for me, the G11 has to be the coolest addition for sure. This definitely has to be the pinnacle of Cold War cult status meme weapon development. Make sure to check out both types of approach we took; one guns blazing and a sneaky beaky one, hope you enjoy!

20:53 - Always amazed at the fact, how many people are trying to add a visible laser beam to Arma3. Now GM is adding this absurd! I don't understand why spoil one of the serious additions to Arma3, which is based on the reality of 80s. If GM was a Star Wars mod, then I would understand it...

@@theShermanator Sorry, I don't see the connection. A reference/homage to sci-fi films, it's good, but somehow it doesn't fit into the format of milsim gameplay. Quote -"A laser beam is a highly focused beam of photons, and can only be seen if portions of the photons hit something and thus give themselves away. In ordinary air, the photons of a laser beam hit air molecules, but the effect is too small to be noticed".
