as somebody who has, or had, a balishark mermaid, heres my experience out of the box it was good, the loctite was broken open but that didnt really matter to me lol. actually pretty good, but after using it consistently from about a month, one day i was doing a helix combo, it fell on the carpet, and the blade completely snapped off. defo better than before, but i think i would still prefer a squiddy, c116, or other similarly priced balis. i would give it a 4/5 as a beginner. defo not for more advanced flipping though.

We just reviewed the Alien, which is about $45, and the next three reviews we have slated to release are of balisongs all under $70!

The BS Score list isn't exclusively for "higher quality" Balisongs, we just have yet to add a lot of the more affordable stuff on there. Both the TheOne Falcon and Alien are both on there, the Squiddy, and the Andux $30 balisong. We have plans to add more in the future though for sure, such as the Tay Flipper, Zippy Cycloid, Balishark Mermaid, Nabalis Morse, all of that kind of stuff soon!

Update: ordered it yesterday night and it arrived this morning , the marcolo c116 is literally the greatest thing ive ever flipped , better than a squidy , better than the 30$ nabalis g10 , i love it and it flipped amazing right out of the box. Im not a very good flipper so id love if yall would review it so people who are on a budget like me can learn abt it and consider it

9:43 thats the only balisong i have atm and will ever have lmao. Balisongs are so crazy expensive and I would do anything to get a hold of something that isn't that one which I currently have. Tired of that one and an upgrade would mean the world to me
