I’ve been using MidJourney regularly since June 2022, I was always waiting for it to be able to create component and layout ideas for random design projects I want to do. With V4 I was able to extract elements for use in my private designs, with V5 it got so much better than I make my work as a freelance designer a lot easier as well. By intuition, if I hit a good design with the prompt I write, I will create a beautiful looking landing page in 2 hours instead of 8-16.

I feel the same way.

At this point it's somewhat easier for me to identify which images are designed by ai, and whenever i see these types of designs i spend the next 20 minutes just thinking "wow, that's beautiful" left in awe. Our jobs since the explosion of ai have gotten a lot more fun and easier.

Pat, I want to express my gratitude for providing this platform for us to exchange ideas. I'm pleased to share that I presented several design options for my upcoming project to my client, who selected the best ones. I'm now excited to move forward with building the website, which only took me less than an hour! I'm truly amazed!

How about using the illustrations? Do you convert them in Illustrator to svg or edit them with photoshop pngs, seems that the resolution is pretty low to use as is.

If mid Journey can pretty much come up with a great design idea, why then recreate the design in figma and then in webflow. Why not go straight to webflow after mid journey? What does figma give you if you already have a mid journey design idea?

polish the navigation and usability elements. midjourney is great at a "blurry" take on a website, but often falls pretty far short in making it something users will be able to use quickly and easily

When I search for Design Prompts in the Community search, Discord finds a couple but neither of them are this one...how do I find the real one?

With most of these designs, I feel like I'm 10 years in the past. Almost like seeing a wooden bookshelf from the 2013 iOS. Good for color palette, mediocre for illustrations (coz lots of them look like cheap stock) mediocre for inspiration, really bad for UX.

I am still confused though, it still outputs as a flat file. How are you all using it, or integrating it into an actual design that you can use.

Well I already used up my free trial last year

It's asking me to subscribe to Midjourney. What do I do?

I’ve joined design prompts but I’m not seeing any designs from the channel. I’ve got design prompts selected as the server. I’m not seeing any of the designs shown in this KZread video. And when I try to add a prompt it says I need to subscribe and pay.

I’ve selected the design prompt server and the website mockup 2 channel. This is my prompt, “A modern website home page design for dentist using blue and green colors with purple highlights”. I get nothing. So I add “/imagine prompt” and that of course puts me in midjourney. And it tells me I have to subscribe (pay). What am I doing wrong?

Not really totally free though is it. You get 200 or so, free prompts but after that you have to pay a monthly fee.

Hey Pait I have an AI writer a created while i locked myself in a room for 3 months and I dont know what to do with it. There is no free way to use it anymore. They are busy enough to get all the money people throw at them.

You have to pay for midjourney suscripción, isn't? Cause you only have like 25 generations or something like that, right?

How many prompts do you get on the free trial? I thought it was just a daily limit?

@@PaytonClarkSmith unfortunately not, I think its not limited by prompts, but by their GPU usage. So the free trial allows people 15 minutes of GPU usage. The next tier is $10 a month, and that allows for 3.3 hours of GPU usage per month. The free tier isn't 15 minutes by month though, its set as lifetime. So yeah, i love the idea of the discord you're working on, and the "free discord" selling point is valid, but I feel that the number of users will stagnate and drop off quickly down to a select few that don't mind paying midjourney directly for more prompts.

So if it drops off, at least I gave people a space to start learning how it all works! Anyways, thanks for the content and the info on their free trial plans! I actually didn’t know that

My god AI suck for design and I am a world class designer

it is not that useful if you can not export the assets of these designs

lol, ppl thinking this is good designs/layouts. it creates nice hero/product images, but layouts? it falls short of mediocre, it still has no idea how to do readability, legibility, typography that looks good. It probably will at some point, but it's clear that people using this to create designs have no idea what looks good or what doesnt, which is why they use AI to generate webdesigns.

All of these AI money making videos are BS. Design things by urself
