Maiev is a very strong hero because the buddy can skyrocket your momentum. What you need to know is when to use it to simply get any triple or when to use it on a great card, like a Brann. This game will be an example of both. What really helped is Young Murk-Eye, which allowed me to get any golden card from shop for just 1 gold every turn! After getting this much luck, I decided to go for a End of Turn Mech board, which turned out absolutely insane!

    Thought experiment that came to mind while watching this: Would it be more or less scaling to keep the second golden clunker as opposed to two golden beatboxers? It's tough to figure out with all of the triggers, but here's what my napkin math produced: A golden clunker with golden brann, murkeye, and drakkari gives 36 magnetics, and with the best case scenario of all of those missing the one golden beatboxer, that's 108 magnetics at the end of the turn (36 + (36*2)). A second beatboxer increases that best case number to 180 (36+(36*2)+(36*2)), though the best case scenario is extremely unlikely (winning a 1/3 36 times in a row). A second clunker would add an extra 108 magnetics to the best case scenario, bringing that up to 216, and the likelihood of missing beatboxer with the battlecry goes up to 2/3. So in best case scenario, double clunker seems better. That being said, worst case scenario (every magnetic hits a beatboxer) flips the script. A second beatboxer in worst case scenario would result in 108 (36+(36*2)) since at least one beatboxer will be missed each time, while a second clunker worst case would result in 72 (36+36). Assuming average luck (1/3 of the time beatboxer is missed in double beatboxer comp; 2/3 of the time beatboxer is missed in double clunker comp), the second clunker would result in 88 (36+(26*2)). For the double beatboxer, assuming the battlecry trigger hits each of the three possible mechs (drone, boxer, boxer) an even 12 times each, we get 132 ((12+(12*2)+(12*2)+((12+(12*2)*2)). I would not be surprised if I did something wrong, but it looks like double beatboxer wins except in the best case scenario. Either way, awesome game, and mechs go brrr.
